On rock marks like that the rocks and the shelter & food that they supply are what attract the fish. You need. 1. A rotten bottom system of some type (gemini do a good one). 2. Some plain (unwired) leads (4-8oz depending upon how far you are casting). The fish will self hook if allowed. Make sure most of the hookpoint is free of bait so that it can prick the fish. As you've suggested good bait is also necessary. Unwashed squid (lots of squid is bleeched) & lugworm or rag in the summer. Sea fish baits will also appeal to some species. Recast regularly. Every 15 mins is about right. Hope this helps. If all else fails find a mark where theres deep water close in and float fish bits of mackerel.
need to get some lugworm/ragworm then put the prawn on make a cocktail as to speak but also get some white fishing elastic to bind on, maybe some peeler crab too.
fav hobby sea fishing can be hard going without the right bait for the area unsure what works best up that end of the country, one thing i did wanna ask though are you using shockleader may not be casting it hard and sending it miles but if one of them leads come off mid cast can be deadly 10 ib per oz of the lead as a rule of thumb although i use 80ib for most of my fishing even if im only using 6oz leads
Hard going aint it sea fishing. Love your determination though. Wish i could offer you some tips but im clueless too. Id be looking for other people fishing thats usually a good sign. Youll get there lad. Loving the back to back uploads toooo.
Pennel pully rigs, getting the tide right. Don't fish the Yorkshire coast in the winter, the effort definitely does not equal rewards. Call in on your way through I'll sort you some decent rigs out for beach fishing in Africa. You might catch a shark!
Right Adam I’ve got an idea💡get some stickers for the van( Adam’s road trip etc) and every time some one passes you they peep their horn you then wave and they donate a £1 to your trip
Hi mate, Just subbed to your channel, I'd try mackerel strip as a good all round bait that catches most species. Morrisons fish counter is good if your struggling to get hold of bait 👍👍they sell whole mackerel just cut in slivers then hook on. I'd use the rigs you were using over cleaner ground just simply because they snag a lot on rough ground, for rough ground id go for a pulley rig. Other places I sometimes source baits like squid are oriental wholesalers 👍 Nice video mate keep them coming 💯 All the best, tight lines 👍🎣
pop into a local tackle shop and ask for info best bait to use id blacks and squid you will need a baiting needle and some bait cotton thread the work onto the needle then feed it onto your hook them wrap the squid round the work bind with cotton make sure you have a good hook point showing
i feel as if im at disney! mate i love the show! smiling all the way and i havnt smiled in years

Suggest the pier at Whitby tomorrow. Loads of small fish off there. Float fished bits of mackerel on small (size 6 to 2) hooks WILL catch you fish.
If the fish don't turn up adam you could always rename the videos to Adams toilet tours and name n shame the local authority....lol
Yes Adam. Keep it going bro. ❤

1 of the biggest things in sea fishing is getting the tides right
I've been to Robin hood bay that walk is a killer.
Looking forward to your next videos but fish at high tide 👍
Adam, If you have to use the toilet in the van get some xtra large dog poo bags to line the toilet with. Much easier to dispose of and cleaner.
