Keep going Adam don’t get disheartened it’s great what u r doing. Trying new things will make u a better person alround and a better angler. Going to the same spots does get a bit boring back home. Tight lines. 👍🎣
Hi Adam try the river Teviot, a Tweed tributary Float fishing for grayling is allowed during the Salmon Close season.... Jedburgh Fishing Club waters....👍
Seriously now mate I’m loving these videos, it’s nice to watch such a nice chilled guy and not putting a front on just keep being yourself and doing what you’re doing pal,
Adam mate get over to the river clyde near wishaw...green bridge stretch supposed to be full of grayling. Check with anglers attic, but used to be £10 day ticket...its just over an hour from peebles
We all have them days mate.. I blanked other week first time in years but got straight back on the horse as they say next time out and started catching again mate.. tight lines looking gorward to watching your journey
Great Video Adam, keep it going. Just curious, is this "live"? like are you doing it each night as you go? Am looking forward to seeing more. I am Northumberland, so you have past me.
Unlucky pal. I love your little giggle/chuckle man. I'm don't have a clue about fly fishing but is it not worth casting upstream maybe ? Hoping you catch a fish tomorrow ❤🎣
If you wanna see some great videos on fishing Scottish rivers watch Davie Mcphails videos …. Cast straight across or slightly upstream and mend, mend, mend the line …. If you’re casting downstream cast short and feed out your fly line … just like trotting a float … casting downstream and stripping back against the flow don’t normally work very well. Trout and grayling and frankly all fish generally sit in the current facing upstream waiting for food to drift down to them … but you probably knew that. Also the dry fly/ dropper technique is awesome for rivers … it’s like fishing with a float! You have to check that out …. Fly fishing is hard on rivers and there’s a lot to learn but awesome once it comes together … sorry you blanked but you’re in good company I did myself today! 😂
Adam the river Eden but that’s near Carlisle so not sure how far from there you are pal. But you did your best and was impressive. £40 quid to fish for Grayling bit steep imo pal. I’m playing Planet Fishing and bagging up lol. Stick with it man.
To many rules and regulations these days with fishing especially on commercial fisheries that's why I never fish them.. because people have been fishing for hundreds of years on different water ways and the fish are still there😊
You are really using the wrong tactics for grayling , should really be fishing Czech style nymphing.. You can float fish on the River Teviot or River Clyde to name a couple.
Coldstream and Norham are accessible for Trout and Grayling, on the tweed near Berwick on Tweed. Tight Lines.
