Nice wishlist Louise! I hope you are able to find everything that you want and can fit them in your suitcase 🤞. If you get the time it would be good to see some videos of some of the plants they have at the nurseries there 👍
@PeterEntwistle I hope so. I've been looking on Utube at nurseries close to where I'll be staying, that I haven't visited before. It's going to be a much shorter holiday so there may not be time to see alot of nurseries but will try my best. 🤞
Wow that's a brave shopping list Louise 😱. Every grafted sapodilla I've had has died on me. I'd forget the durian, probably die in an aircraft hold as anything below 10c will kill them immediately and they really need high humidity all year round. Hooe you can locate the guavas you want, at least they can be kept alive here.
@lyonheart84 it will be a challenge to get all of them on my list and non grafted. Knowing my luck they may not have them in stock or they're too big to fit in my luggage!
Nice Shopping list Louise. My wish list is the Piper Nigrum. I have be trying to germinate seeds with zero results. So I am searching for rooted cuttings. I will not be beaten 😂😂
@myexoticfoodplants6727 if I'm able to get fresh seeds off a vine I will bring them back for you Michael. You need untreated ripe peppercorns to get germination. Also I will see what fruit is available that I can extract seeds from if I can't find particular plants on my list. I have taken a cutting off my Nigrum plant and its put out a single root. I can send it to you when it's grown a few more.
@@louiseahmedtropicalplantgr5000 Thanks for your Kind offer Louise. I have reserved a few tropicals for you. The next time I am in Manchester, I hope to deliver.
Nice collection Louise try your best to get airlayed ones not grafted one due to the grafted ones cant properly adjust with uk claimant thats why it dies quickly, when you see the plant wilting thats a sign it will die on you in the uk,
@shamsgardeningcrafts yes I agree with you on the grafted ones. Probably won't bother with any citrus, but hopefully I can get airlayers of the plants I want.
Hey can you please make a video on how to germinate the oak leaf papaya or can you tell me how i can get them to germinate please because i am failing miserably🥺😔
@sayeedhussain7657 I'm not germinating Oakleaf papaya right now, the last time was around 4 years ago. The seeds take a while to germinate, I assume the fresher the seed the quicker the germination. I used standard potting compost, kept the soil moist and covered the pot with clingfilm and left it on a heat mat. It did take a long time to germinate.
