I live in New Zealand and it is 5 hours to Tahiti from here. For me, it is a short-haul flight. I hate long-haul trips. So I split it and have layovers in different places. Long hauls are expensive. 😞
It is really not that expensive. There are always options, and I was on the budget. I have not stayed in expensive over water bungalows that are not for me. 😀
For me, it wasn't a luxury holiday. It was between both. There is no limit. I always dreamt of somewhere like Brando Island. But I keep balance, 2 weeks ago I was in Fiji. I woulln't afford it if didn't cut one of the corners. 😀

You only live once! If you go on a luxurious vacation, don’t cut corners! This is not the time to be frugal.
