My Squid story Time getting short & a Bad day fishing (Pier), That is if Hardheads, Remora & Ladyfish isn't Your bag. The Universe showing me who's Boss whips up a sudden & extreme rain squall, I say "EFF" it, throw on a poncho and just to show the universe I'm all good with the theatrics, I put on a whole Nasty Smelling Ammonia saturated 3 foot Diablo Pacific Squid on my big rig and chucked it into the tempest, I not only caught the 2nd biggest fish of my life, a 38 pound Bull Redfish, also the most Exhausting, I managed to some how avoid Pier Entanglement, the turmoil was actually helping, a few iffy moments, had to Fight the *amn fish 1/4 mile down the Pier, onto the beach and drag it's Big Ass out of the water, and only One other person saw me do it because I'm a Maniac and have Absolutely NO sense when it come's to getting out of the weather
OH, P.S.- Because of Florida's rule for slot size Redfish (between 18" & 28") that you could keep, those under & most important Those Over size limits must be returned to water in best condition possible, I didn't even get to keep it, all I got is a picture on my phone.
