He should've never had the remote thought to do those things if he really loved you, and he shouldn't try earning back Kichi's trust by giving him some flowers, a cheap ass note, and a half-baked apology. That just shows how he thinks some material goods and a weak apology would just erase the whole situation, well it won't. He should be trying to show Kokichi that he cares for him. If he really did, he would know how. You can't just earn back trust by giving someone shit and expecting them to love and trust you again, then it just feels like they think they can buy your love. Trust isn't easily gained, and when you lose it, it'll be even harder to get back. Especially when the person in question has been hurt or in domestically abusive relationships before. He has to show Kokichi how dedicated he is, and refrain from touching him in any way that could harm him, let him come to you through trust. Show you care and let him trust you again, don't just pull him into a hug it'll feel forced. Apologize, and let him feel comfortable enough to make contact with you(letting him come to you at the end was better, but don't just contact him out of the lue like before). Show him that you love him and will never harm him again (don't just say it, do something that proves to him you'll never put your hands on him in a way that is meant to harm ever again.), put some actual effort into apologizing, do it from the heart. Write a song, or a poem, or something that actually feels heartfelt, not like you just threw some words together to make a coherent sentence. every relationship has arguments, but that's what makes them stronger, unless there's violence involved. Hurting someone, then throwing some shit together to apologize is just foundation to a toxic, unhealthy relationship that'll crumble in days time. Not Good.
