I believe most western/ westernized countries have this sort of law in place like I know the US considers it a massive crime and I remember the biggest case was against the subway brand ambassador. If it’s anywhere else, I believe this sort of law is non-existent which is why it’s common for these crimes and people to go unpunished.
In America, depending on what state the crime is committed, the criminal will serve jail time and update their information with the police to the SO registry.
Surprising that Mediacorp is allowed to upload this here when regular TH-camrs have to tiptoe around such things when discussing this topic, having to use terms like "CP", "PDF"/"PDF file", and the like.

First case involving pornographic materials since 2009 where minors were assaulted by the criminal. Not new to me.
Facebook and Instagram never take action on scam advertisements despite numerous times of reports.
They said the scam ads is nothing wrong?!
I’ve made at least 300 reports on IG against accounts that post and promote NSFW sites and straight up NSFW. some even featuring animals or children.
Most of my reports come back with a “this post/account does not violate TOS”. What a joke.

Both men were sentenced to 30 months imprisonment and 13 strokes of cane for child abuse with common intention.
Wong Ket Kok was convicted of possession of child abuse material, he was sentenced to 15 months imprisonment and a fine of $14,000.
