The Salkantay Trek - Hike to Machu Picchu

Hiking across the Salkantay pass to Aguas Calientes and then on to Machu Picchu was one of the highlights of our time in South America.
Over the course of the hike we encountered some incredibly diverse terrain, from barren alpine slopes through to dense rainforests.
It was a tough hike but absolutely worth it.
