Thanks for joining me Dave, you guys are always welcome to visit me in the box. I also got a Rapid Honda woollen which is great for being in Scotland 🏴 this time of year. Fab video as ever ! DV
Although injuries are an unfortunate reality of motorbike racing it's good to see that you are taking the long term view and allowing the injury to heal properly not pushing to get Franco back on the bike to risk further damage while being uncompetitive into the bargain.I'm sure you are all frustrated at not being in the race but patience is a virtue and his time will come one day.I look forward to 2025 season and a healthy Franco testing in Spain. Were they isotonic pastries Hollyoaks was scoffing?
Thanks for sharing Dave.... 'Shock Horror' for the TV audience that a team has packed up early & left a empty pit garage....even after 20yrs away from the BSB paddock, the Bullshit lmage & Controlling Rules Still Apply - Nothing Changes.
So gutted for Franco. Better safe than sorry. Come back sorted, stronger & hungrier Franco! Thanks to the team for still being determined, professional & working for teamwork! Thanks to you Dave for being enthusiastic & entertaining!
Duncan's having a bit of camera time lately what with this and Chasin' The Racin'! Very good on both I might add. Shame Franco's hand hadn't recovered enough. Probably all that belly button stuff. 😂 I feel like Rob should have conducted the yoga in his Rowley Birkin voice.
Brilliant info as usual. Gutted for Franco as it's season over. Far more important, that that pesky bone, along with the rest, is given a full period to heal properly. Stronger, fitter and faster next season. Team and rider taking the right decision, showing their professionalism. Very best wishes and see you at Donington. (Dave, great job in the commentary box. 😊👍)
Always and interesting video from you. A genuine peek behind the scene to better appreciate the sheer hard work that everyone has to put in and the bravery of the guy in the hot seat. Thanks.
Another great vlog Dave. Hopefully Franco is feeling better. So tough to ride even normally with injured hands or feet. Wishing you guys the best of luck for the rest of the season.
Cheers for the vlog as ever Dave..Really gutted for Franco to sit this round out but definitely the right decision given how conditions were at Oulton. Also a shame that he won't be able to finish the season either. But very important his injury heals properly & he comes back strong in 2025. All the best to the team for Donni & I'm sure Tom will do his very best for the last 2 rounds 👍🏻
Must be very frustrating for you all and especially franco but keep up that amazing team spirit . He is very young and what seems a long time out now will be nothing when he looks back in a few years time . Best of luck at Donnington .
Great stuff as always Dave showing the not so good bits of racing but as always one crap weekend is forgotten about when you have a good one I have a feeling donington is gonna be a good weekend great stuff guys come on franco 👍
Not the best outcome….but the correct one…..here’s to Donnington, thanks Dave , Franco & Team Rapid..👍🇮🇲😉👌 PS Rob….my kind of Sunday morning commitment..awesome 👍👌👌🇮🇲😜
Sad to see franco not riding not good to see him out for the rest off bsb but best think and get him right for next season good luck with Tom Ward and team
Shame about Franco's injury woes. My brother smashed his scaphoid in a road crash back in the dark ages and they just binned it. The wrist was so messed up that when he crashed a few years later racing they failed to notice on the x-ray he'd broken it again! Was enjoying the content regardless and then hit the pastry porn!! Phoarrr! Was that a maple and pecan one?! 😋
imo would of put him on the grid and come in on the warm up lap. Just so the sponsors got a bit of telly time. That bone is one of the worst for healing as far as I know. The belly button thing, he's mum was telling him not to stuck things in the rear passage or his belly button will pop out. lol . Good luck at Donnington 👍
Franco has my sympathy, I wrapped a car around a tree in Jan and I have suspected scaphoid but after 8 xrays they can't see anything wrong, I've been riding with more weight on my right as a result
Such a shame, but Got to be right, Job and do not want to make the job any worse for his self I could see how p..sed off he was. Yes, it was a nice little video And all the best for the weekend
Me too, never knitted together after having screwed. This was at 17/18, its been a bastard ever since. Thankfully on my weaker hand. Hope Franco has more luck & fully recovers.
Ha, I asked if you were deleting my comments. You said no so I replied to that with my original comment and that comment has been deleted too! What gives?
@@MichaelSmith-mc8bd but not in BSB? He was impressive when he stepped in and it would appear Franco put the blocker on that happening again at Oulton, even when clear he was in no position to race.
sad ... but honda shine good ! 7456,45 milen and only border of wear (new oil , valve adjustment ) sure the breaks are very very soft at my first honda sh125i ...why is franco not under top three 🫣 - success 🤞🍀

It was a great experience to join you Duncan, just let Larry know he's got competition 😂

I was at Oulton Dave you did a great job of helping Dunc 👏👏
What a great team you've got there. Franco has an old head on young shoulders, he's making good decisions

Dunc is awesome 👍
Not long ago Franco put a big smile on everyone's face, fight your way back Franco and good luck to Tom

Nice meeting you that weekend Dave and thanks for the advice on the ZX6R! 👍🏻
Always and interesting video from you. A genuine peek behind the scene to better appreciate the sheer hard work that everyone has to put in and the bravery of the guy in the hot seat. Thanks.
Fair play Franco. At least you gave it a shot 👍 just a shame we won't get to see you on track at Donington this weekend.
the highs and lows of racing , get well soon FB! Love watching so well done all , spesh the Yoga teacher , lavly pastries :)
Another great vlog Dave. Hopefully Franco is feeling better. So tough to ride even normally with injured hands or feet. Wishing you guys the best of luck for the rest of the season.
As always Dave, a thoroughly interesting video, keep up with the great work and looking forward to seeing you all at Donington.
Great to see Franco back on it.

Good lad Rob man after my own heart make em have it👍

Let's all look forward to a fully fit and healthy Franco in 2025 .All the best for Him.
Does anyone know where can you buy one of those fancy race seat foams? 13:38
I can only seem to find the boring ones 😐
Franco has my sympathy, I wrapped a car around a tree in Jan and I have suspected scaphoid but after 8 xrays they can't see anything wrong, I've been riding with more weight on my right as a result
Rotten luck for Franco, but I am sure it is a wise move to keep him off the bike until his hand is better....
Heal well and heal quickly, Franco!
Such a shame, but Got to be right, Job and do not want to make the job any worse for his self I could see how p..sed off he was.
Yes, it was a nice little video
And all the best for the weekend
scaphoid is a bastard to heal as its has a weak blood flow. I had to have mine screwed together after 6 months of Drs telling me it was a sprain!
For a tiny bone, it is a rea pain... literally!
Me too, never knitted together after having screwed. This was at 17/18, its been a bastard ever since. Thankfully on my weaker hand. Hope Franco has more luck & fully recovers.
Scaphoid needs at least 3 months to recover. Ignore it and you end up needing surgery, a bone graft and pinning! Take it easy.
You carry a spare engine, carry a spare rider.
are you deleting my comments or is that YT?
Not me!!
👍🏻🇨🇦
😂 bloody Farmer, stuffing his face again 🙄
If it wasn't for bad luck you guys wouldn't have any at all.
Ha, I asked if you were deleting my comments. You said no so I replied to that with my original comment and that comment has been deleted too! What gives?
Get that other lad back on the bike, Franco is all talk no action.
what a bell end comment
If you mean Tom Ward, he is actually riding at Donington for the team.
