    Hello - The TM20K's that have been shipped out from the factory have a supplementary lock function with an extra step - here is the video to the updated lock function. TM20K Lock Function Update

      Instead of explaining the features of the product, almost the entire video is a meaningless stand-up comedy imitation. The product was not shot in a real outdoor environment, pitch dark or in forested areas, and no real distance test was done. The videos were shot in the city, in places where there is already a certain amount of lighting, and estimated distances were given. For example, when a light beam is moved around in a place that already has lighting, a distance is written on the screen. Where was this distance measured? From the closest point the light beam touched or the farthest point? Also, I don't have any information on this subject, but I think the distances are not real.
      I would also like to add that (you may not have understood the importance of this issue) in many parts of the world, people also consider environmental sensitivity in their habits such as production, purchasing and consumption.

    Pretty sweet light and great setup with features and buttons. I would totally get this but non-removable battery makes it a hard pass!!!
    I do not know why they would do this other than they want to make it like an iPhone disposable, you do know lithium ion batteries will only last about 3 years, 5 at the most if you leave it half charged most the time! So basically once the battery goes bad, it's a very expensive paperweight!

    I wanted one until I found out the turbo only lasts 7 seconds. That's just long enough to see a small parking lot is safe and empty, but not long enough to figure out what's going on if people are there.
    It shouldn't switch down until it gets hot to the touch. Conduct the heat away from the electronics better Nitecore.

    • @user-ty2uz4gb7v
      @user-ty2uz4gb7v 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      7 seconds, that's pathetic. That means they only included it for marketing.

    Having owned/owning many Nitecore torches i can confirm that the non-removability of the Battery on my TM10K was a concern for sure, i almost didn't get it but I just wanted it sooooo bad haha, but having owned my TM10K for almost 2yrs now my only gripe is the hidious "10,000 Lumens!!!" On the side, errrk! Who is this meant to impress? But The built in non removable battery is perfectly fine, in some ways better than a replaceable battery, eg it's properly mounted and basically welded into place ensuring there's never a worry of a poor connection or a crappy cell, but if you're really keen you can still pull it apart and replace it yourself, I've done it, I've found them all to be over spec anyway, I've owned the TM10K for a while and it's never failed nor is there any noticeable drop in battery life or performance, I've just ordered a TM20K and will update this as soon as applicable

    Hard to justify $300.00 for a flashlight, even a very good flashlight at 10% off, but then consider it's not just a nearly 1 pound flashlight, it transforms effortlessly into a $300.00 bulky paperweight since batteries are not user replaceable. Wait, that's not a feature, it's a design flaw.
    From another review I found the 20K turbo mode lasts a maximum of 7-10 seconds before ramping down. Not gonna search very long in turbo mode.
    Yeah, I think I'll pass.
    Great presentation, though!

    I like the lamp very much. The big point of criticism is the retaining clip. As with the TM10K, the attachment is poor. The small screws are too weak. After just 10 fastenings to the pants, the retaining clip slides to the left and right. It doesn't matter how tight you tighten the screws. The retaining clip should be in a recess in the upper area so that it does not loosen to the left and right. Nitecore definitely needs to revise this in the future!

      Fortunately Nitecore uses high quality Li-ion batteries from reputable manufacturers, you can refer to our "What's inside Nitecore batteries" for more information! These are the same ones that are being used in Tesla cars! It would be silly to think those would only last 2 to 3 years.

Immersed in stuff in which you're well-versed, I bet you function really well. You probably also make assumptions. Another word for assumptions is conclusions--which you arrive at safely because of your experience. Amirite or what?

    Cool flashlights but it's starting to remind me of the megapixel wars from cameras. Pointless to have huge output when they cannot cope with heat. For anyone looking for a powerful flashlight the most important aspect imo is for how long a flashlight can hold their highest brightness mode (none turbo) and at what level of lumens.I think the sweet spot of holding high mode is around 3K-4K lumens for the longest period of time. Doesn't really matter if a flashlight can go >10K lumens if it can't hold it for more then 10sec.. And the internal battery? Are they trying to adopt Apple marketing? Sorry but no matter how amazing a flashlight can be I REFUSE to buy it without replaceable batteries.

    $500 in australia! . Im guessing these guys have not seen the competition. You can buy a acebeam x50 for less than $500 in australia and this thing gets dam hot after a very short amount of time and only has a turbo mode that lasts 7 seconds like cmon surely they could of done a better job on this light. i like Nightcore but im disappointed with this light.
