Nice one seems good little find and cheap way to get your gas well done, the date on the side probably manufacture date of the bottle May 2022. Most bottle an a manufacturer and expiry date cheers.

I have just got one for my caravan, cracking piece of kit. They recommended the hand wheel pig tails as over tightening a normal one can cause the cylinder to track

    You need an extensión.
Good thing is it switches off like a car lpg.
    C. You can fill even if not empty = top up.
    Very light.

What do you need an extension for?
I fill all 4 of these at Morrisons using the normal filler (as I do for my truck).

@@MadeByMartyn actualky mb Morrisons but most others need an extensión . For example Texaco today I needed it
Most Stations are putting a larger cover at the end of the nozzle. Health and safety! Then yu cannit fill without extensión. Happened today at Tesco.

13kg calor bottle should contain 25.48 litres of gas, so you can’t directly compare to filling 19 litres of safefill bottle. Instead, it would be 0.79 x 25.48 = £20.13 for the same amount of gas (as opposed to £15). Using your costs, you break even after using 179.4 litres of gas which would be on the tenth fill of the safefill bottle. Great for people who use enough gas. Also, you should technically start again with a new bottle every ten years so need to understand how quickly you start saving and how long left you’d have on your bottle before needing a new one.

You are right. However even given my calculation deficiencies, since publishing this video I've refilled around 12 times so, for me, I'm already in profit (based upon 79.9ppl). The colder it gets, moreso, although I'll also be using them (I've 4 now, soon to be 6) for the gas barbeques and patio heaters this summer.

Great to hear. Looks like an obvious choice, given your usage. 😊

Find a Morrisons supermarket with a filling station. They're pretty cheap for LPG. There's also an app called lpgmap or similar.

Barbaque take Butane not Calor 🔥

Calor Orange bottles are Propane, which is the same as LPG. Butane is slightly less efficient than Propane. Most modern appliances designed for this kind of gas will run fine on either, but Propane is the preferred choice.
