Aw thank you Anna. I wanted to make a video this weekend but work has been insanely busy and I need to complete my research assignment before Christmas - but I am still making videos, just not this weekend! haha. And I am just new to TH-cam so its always slow to start, but I am thankful for the subscribers I have already! :) Thanks Anna! Ben
Thanks for the videos for real, myself being a foreigner and not being totally familiarised with British culture, it helps to understand how hospital settings works here and how we students should be carried throughout our placement. Bless you 👍🏾
Im gong to be starting my 2nd year of adult nursing in September and I wish I had come across your YT videos before I started my 1st year placements. I think your ideas and advice is really helpful and relevant. Im going to go and watch your other videos in preparation to going into 2nd year. Thank you.
Hello Katja! I’m so pleased to hear you enjoy these videos and find them helpful. Good luck with your first placement, stay tuned for more content to help set you up! 👏🏻
Hello! My goodness, thanks so much for the very kind words! I am struggling to find time to make videos at the moment but just editing the most recent one now :) Thanks again! Ben
Very informative vid. Could you please make a video on which nursing specialities apart from bedside nursing are the most competitive and how to get into these competitive specialities? I am especially interested in theatre nursing, I live in London and I am unsure how difficult it is to get into that field so I would appreciate it if you made a video on how to get into that speciality, how hard is it to get in ... Thank you for everything you do.
Hello Stella! I am sorry I didn't see your comment. I am pleased you like this video :) I can sure have a go at making a video like that for you. Thank you for the suggestion! :) I hope you are keeping well. -Ben
Do you have any advice for a student working with an educator that is very abrupt that feels like bullying? The placement is 7 weeks and the feedback from educator is negative and wearing. Should the student contact the uni?😢
Hello! Yes they absolutely should discuss this with their university. From what you’ve said that sounds unacceptable. In these situations, it is too easy to give up, but if the student is able to professionally challenge the educator and explain how they are making them feel, the impact they are having on them, and express a way forward, that is the most beneficial way to stay professional and in control. Please pass on my best wishes to the student… Ben
Honestly no clue how you don’t have more subs, please keep making videos!! 💕💕
