We get to see NY through his eyes and here’s what Cash has that is quite rare....He’s very authentic, not pretentious and so humorous! I’ve gotten friends, family and work peers to subscribe to this channel.😊
The AC is leaning into the room, hence the leaking. You need to adjust the angle so slightly tilts outside. Window AC's are supposed to leak, but outside, if it's installed at the right angle.
Love the temperament of NYCers .....they speak & acknowledge Cash, but respect his grind and hustle so much that they don't disturb him for too long. The exchange about purchasing the building was comedic gold ......."let me check my pockets" 😂😂😂
I really appreciate the time and work its takes you to do one video. The walking, the placing of the camera and the subway time. Plus I am sure there is much more like editing. You have to really love what you do to do this at least 5 times a week. Thanks for all the hard work. I like the first apartment. I don't cook.
The owner of the first building seems like a great guy. Hopefully he’s a great landlord too. I still can’t get over how small these places are for the money. Living in Florida where I could rent a 4 bed/5 bath/2 car garage/pool house for 3k makes it so hard to adjust to NYC prices and spaces. Love your videos Cash!!
Young me would have loved that first apartment since I didn't make elaborate meals. Also, having lived with roommates, individual fridges are genius! Can't wait for the longer tours of the Gramercy apartments to come.
All those little fridges are going to mean a HUGE electric bill! We had a roomie with one in her room and it increased our electric bill by 25%, and we have central A/C in a 1100 sq foot HOUSE! That thing was DRINKING electricity!
I deliver mail in the West village, that is where my station (Houston Street, King Street, Carmine, Bedford etc and my sister station is located (canal Street Prince Street etc), whenever I would see one of my customers moving out of a building I would show them your video. I showed all of my customers in the surrounding area per location of my delivery your video. They all love you and you have been so helpful to many (West 10th Street, Jane Street, etc), you cannot imagine how helpful you have been to so many, you are awesome. Your videos actually helped my coworker find an apartment.
I really appreciate the POV shots of your legs down the stairs and walking the streets. I've been in a wheelchair for 10 years because of ALS and remember going down stairs that fast... and I've never walked the streets of NY. Love your videos...and some of these crazy NYC apartments I could never fit my wheelchair in!! LOL!
Seriously what do say when the “Medicine Cabinet” is bigger than the entire kitchen... That first apartment’s location is definitely mint but, l could never live without a decent kitchen. I can’t wait to see those last two apartments next week, they look very interesting. On a different note, you have well developed calf muscles for somebody that doesn’t work out. ♥️👍🏼👏🏼👏🏼

I like the spoilers of the new apartments but honestly, I already look forward to your videos anyway!
I enjoy your helpful tips commentary that you give now during your videos. And I like how you switch things up sometimes but still stay consistent to the good content that your subbies enjoy.
I live in NYC and watching your video is a really great way to start my day. I feel like I just went on a journey!! WFH ain't easy!! These videos are inspiring me to start taking morning walks :-)
You Tube showed me a Cafe Bustelo Coffee ad first when I clicked to watch this. They know Cash’s go to budget coffee! 😱 (The first apartment’s building owner is hilarious. Cute senior.)
Between the Studio/1-bedroom and the 2-3 bedroom apartment, I would go for the second one because of natural light, extra rooms and extra fridges. Renting the extra fridges to someone else would be awesome.
I am loving that first apartment it has an unusual set up. I actually look forward to watching your videos Cash everyday....it gives me something to look forward too. Have a great day.😺
I do not live in New York, but I love watching Cash’s videos. I am amazed at how many apartments do not have a washer and dryer in the apartment itself. Some have a decent laundry room in the building, but I remember when I was at university and how much cash it took to feed the washers and dryers. Some of the apartments videos we see don’t even have a laundry room in the building, so there is the added step of taking laundry to a laundromat and paying to do laundry, as well as guard the machines you are using. How do families afford to do laundry this way? Is it just something that New Yorkers, and maybe people in other big cities understand? I think I must be spoiled by living in the suburbs.
You've gotta be the coolest dude ever. I love how you interact with people on the street. You've got the right stuff, that will take you far. That first apartment with that micro kitchen....NO THANKS...I like cooking, because I can...lol...but seriously it's too small, I would suffocate. But the others kinda cool.
I'm voting for the first suite viewed in Gramercy!! There wasn't a showing today, just a quick check of the suite, but I like it and it's in a terrific area of the city!! Love Washington Square Park so I also think the suite on 6th (I think that's the one?!!) will be a big draw and so quickly - small kitchen - but efficient!! I'd love to live right at the park - gorgeous area - love NYU!! Great video and loved the nice treat the food place made for you - that was sooo nice of them!! Have a terrific day, Cash!! Can't wait to see full views of these suites soon!! :-) Cheers!!
The second place reminded me of my youth (late teens early 20's youth). Friend of mine had a huge old run down house off of lower Greenville in Dallas. Converted a den and some other small room and ended up with basically a six bedroom boarding house. Everyone ended up setting up mini-fridges and hot plates/microwaves in their rooms. Big parties, good times.
Your videos are evolving to just be better and better. We just love watching them. Makes me miss New York. My two cents worth? First apartment, no. Ridiculous kitchen. Second apartment...I don't know. I think that has to be a two bedroom to work. That second from the last looked nice. I look forward to seeing it next week.
a/c pan drain is either not there or blocked..drill a cpl small 1/8 " holes in the bottom of the a/c unit at the rear corners just enough to go through the pan and make sure it's canted slightly back
I'd say with that miniature kitchen (which I'm usually ragging on, but this is a cute kinda' mini camper type set up, it works, it's the basics you need), outside where that table is, is to get a long, wide butcher block type side table. With open shelves bellow for plates, glasses, pantry, etc. and on top of the butcher block put your microwave, coffee maker, etc. and the rest of the table is for food prep.
Ooh! Texan, here. Totally addicted to watching your videos, even though I’m not in nor ever plan to live in NYC 😆 But I digress. I happen to be a Texan from the city of Ennis, which is famous for authentic, traditional Czech kolaches (Ennis, TX has a large Czech population). I say that because most Texans seem to think that pigs-in-a-blanket (sausage in a roll type of bread) are kolaches. They aren’t, and there’s a real debate about it all. The Czech pastry usually has fruit in them, though you can find some with meat or custards. The only other place I’ve ever seen real kolaches in TX is in a town called West, TX. Either way, what you have looks to be the actual kolache and not the imposter! Lucky you!! I’m so proud 😁 Lol
Yes, the Czech Stop kolaches are my favorite in West. It's a must stop whenever traveling through Central Texas on I-35 no matter which direction you're going - North or South. They're on the east side of the interstate BTW.

Otherwise, it might work for a student. I watched the whole video and had to deal with a cat who needed attention. My Toby is a lovey dovey. His brother Tyler is a honey bunny. I think the kitchen in the first unit works if you are a person that doesn't cook much. It isn't a bad place actually and I like the division between the living area and potential bedroom.
@ about 4:00, you can tell that the first unit used to have 2 large windows in the sleeping area, but they're been closed in and made into shelves. An AC unit is at the top of the right one and a small portion of the left one still had glass that lets in a sliver of light. It's a shame to lose the light from those windows, unless the outside view back there was completely horrendous.
I love your videos and your attitude is phenomenal. So glad I stumbled upon your Channel it gives me something to watch as I'm in bed recovering from surgery. 😀

The first studio's bedroom should have a big refrigerator since the kitchen is small comparing to the apartment with all three bedrooms having a refrigerator unless they are using them as air conditioner...lol The location is good except for the current situation at Washington Square Park.
