We don't need those tips, tricks videos no more, this is true knowledge. Thank you thank you. 38:26 can arnold do this ? I've been checked but haven't found it yet ?
Thanks! Yeah, it doesn't do the channel much good, but I feel like in-depth tutorials are lacking even if they are boring! I'm not sure how you can set the range in Arnold. V-Ray has more controls, but they can be a bit finicky, whereas Arnold, as far as I know, assumes you'll be adjusting it in post anyway. So it will appear white until you adjust the exposure, which you can do in the render view temporarily to see if it's correct.

Hello, when I used Vray Light Dome with HDR map, how I overrides the background for Alpha of my model? Now I must render whole scene again without my Vray Light Dome for alpha. Override Visibility Vray Light Dome does alpha. but turns off reflection, lighting of map.
In the Options tab, you can uncheck "Affect Alpha". This will behave like the V-Ray Sky in that it will show in RGB but not in Alpha. If you need to turn it off completely but still affect the environment, check "Invisible".

Thank you so much for these lectures! One question, when rendering with denoise, is also needed to check the denoise for every render element?
You're welcome. Glad you like them! Yes, each element needs denoise enabled for the denoise pass to work.
Hello, when I used gpu render, the AO was full white, how can I fix it?
Is it working in cpu mode? If the object is white, it could be that the scene is enormous and the vray dirt falloff is too small
@@CGStirk When I use cpu mode, it woking, looks like your video. But in GPU mode, it looks only white.
What version of vray are you running and what gpu do you have?
@@CGStirk I use vray6 with maya2020 and rtx 3080ti
If you'd like me to take a look, you can send me your maya scene on my discord server and I'll take a look tomorrow.
