There's a volume slider for audio within the editing tools, poke around in the options while editing the sound, clickk everything, you can always go back and start over.

What about the remixes where you just add a photo or video to the specific reel your remixing at a certain time in the original video without altering the sound
While remixing if you dont want original video side by side what to do ? Can remix an reel without its video side by side. What to do if your Reel effects are showing empty

But I want to do that without having to remix someones video. I've seen stuff like this on IG, like people reacting to memes, but idk how they do it..
I'm not too sure. I would reach out to Instagram if that happens with several different videos, otherwise I would try redoing it to see if that'll help get Instagram off the lag.
When you get to the editing portion, click the audio and both sound inputs should show up, increase the volume for your voice over since the default is set to 0 for duets. Happy creating!

I think you can only make the length of your remix less than or equal to the length of the original video in the IG app, if you want to make it longer try using Kapwing to make your remix!
Hello, So I came across a Reel where the creator invites a Remix, however, when I click on the three dots it does not show “Remix this Reel”. It does not show this on any Reels. Why am I not seeing “Remix this Reel” on any Reels?

What if you want to react to theirs? Like have their reel & audio play for a few seconds, then your reel reacting to them, play after?

Every time I do a remix and add my own text, the text disappears when I upload it! How to I stop this from happening? It’s so frustrating!

The poster of the video has to click a button that says allow remixing for the button to show

Before recording your Remix, make sure to delete the song on the "Audio" tab at the left side, then lower your phone volume and record!
