"A brooding string section" and "very listenable Doom" are both comments that I agree with and relate to regarding this song! Though I like it quite a lot, I find it is very easy for my mind to get transported to another place, mid-song! On another note. Never take for granted how fortunate you both are to live where you can regularly get to concerts! It's been many years for me, so I am very grateful for the internet, to be able to view concert footage and of course, your good channel! :-) Cheers!
Not directly my favourite genre, but very listenable nonetheless. Saw them once as opening act of Iron Maiden ( probably 25 years ago) in Rotterdam. When I saw the violin on stage back than I went to grab a beer and came back as soon as they were done. Nowadays I can appreciate the violin. Guess I wasn't ready for violin in metal back then. Did I mention Freedom Of Fear?😁
Phenomonal band and a direct influence on my own. Unfortunately this style of doom is barely appreciated in the UK, where stoner/sludge stuff holds the most sway.
Cracking song and vid, eh :) They're from Bradford not Whitby, although understandable as they put out "The Barghest o' Whitby" EP. Can't wait for the new album either! Been a fan since the late 90's. Cheers
Nice and brooding, definitely need to check out more of their stuff.

Now you're just old and slowly moving to classical music one step at a time
@@PNW Hahaha you're probably right.

I really enjoyed that and will grab this when it's released.
