Your vids have been very helpful and very detailed! Recently have purchased a 2014 Audi Q7 with the 3.0 supercharged engine. Was wondering if you have made a video of replacing the oil filter housing? I believe I have oil leaking from there. I have had no luck finding a good, clear and detailed video on how to do it. Would really enjoy seeing one from you as your vids are easy to follow and very detailed! Keep it up!
That would be awesome!! And very sorry to hear your car failing. I watched your newer video about it. When my car breaks down (something severe) it's always a very sad moment! Hope to see it back up and running soon!
Great content! As a new owner who was unaware of these issues, this is a great help. I plan on flipping this current car to help get into a house of my own but I hope to own another C7 after this ownership.

Thanks for this video. I have to replace my fuel pressure regulator that is right under the supercharger and needed to know how to remove this properly.

Hey what’s up man, hope you’re doing good, on my 2011 Audi A6/C6 3.0t quattro, I bought it not too long ago, the serpentine belt had snapped on me unexpectedly, i changed it, but as i was putting my supercharger belt on the tensioner stopped tensioning and now it’s as if the tensioner nut or bolt (16mm to it) was stripped, i was able to get both belts on properly but now it’s making a pretty crappy sound as if something was spinning or rubbing while spinning but i can’t tell if it would be the supercharger or the supercharger tensioner, and either one, if you could point me into the right direction. please help lol thanks
Question: will a leaking intercooler core cause white smoke to come out of the exhaust when a misfire occurs? The coils and the plugs have been change within the last year. Thank you! 2012 Audi A6 3.0T
Aye perfect timing man, I’ve been looking for good tutorials on how to do this due to needing to fix my manifold runner flaps so they aren’t stuck anymore. Thank you for the content, keep up the good work!🙏🏼
You need to make sure the flaps are pushed down as you reattach the intake runners or you will get those codes. Watch my pcv tips & tricks so to see what I mean.
@@AudiC7Owners I did watch the PCV video, great info on there as well thanks for that. It definitely helped, although I didn’t remove neither of the intake manifolds and remember all of the flaps being open when reinstalling the supercharger.
Damn!Your vid plus ECS Tuning, this'll get me to do a fluid change for my 4M q7 supercharger fluid, change thermostat and possible pcv :) My only challenge is all the rear tubing and connectors are going to be a challenge due to the long front end and me being average height :P
Awesome video, I'm at 85,000 miles on my S4 B8.5, and just purchased O rings for the intercooler and water pipe, and OEM cooler bricks. Are there any gaskets below the supercharger going into the engine I'm going to need?
Yep! You need the 6 gaskets that sit on top of the intake manifold flapper's (they seal the supercharger to the manifold) & you need replacement pcv return stack o-rings
Love your vids, as they make these projects a lot less intimidating...and saves anyone willing to take the leap a lot of money. Question... I'm on my 3rd B8 (2010 A4, 2010 S5, 2016 S5). All of them have reeked of gasoline when I sniff the oil cap. Research has told me that it's the HPFP o-rings. Do you have a video discussing/DIY to resolve?
It could be hpfp o-rings gone bad, but it could also be leaking injectors. I have a diy showing how to remove/upgrade your hpfp piston which shows how to take it off the car, but I'm unsure if there is an o-ring re-seal kit you can buy? Maybe post in the 3.0t fb groups asking if anyone knows of a part number.
Good morning Cameron i qot a question about the super charger oil how long is the life span i mean how often we supposed to replace what is the minimal range on mileage do you have any idea

Helpful video. My b8.5 s4 just started intermittently misfiring in cyl 3 & have had some coolant loss. So I’m leaning to leaky coolers ☹️. Is this the same reason you removed yours ?
That certainly is a symptom of leaking intercoolers. Are you also getting an epc light? We also have a video on diagnosing 3.0t misfires if you want to check that out
Cameron, thanks for the video. Seriously as always appreciate the channel. Even though I'm on a C7.5 A7, everything is almost identical, with minor differences. I have heard the installation of the SC is a bit more tricky. I know there are some "flaps", not sure what they are actually called, that must be in a certain position when you reinstall the SC. This honestly doesn't seem like a hard job at all. Any chance of doing an install vid on it? I know it is in reverse order, but my main concern is the flaps or butterfly valves or whatever they are called and how they should be positioned when reinstalling. I just don't want to have to pull it again just because something moved or got put in the wrong position.

Great video. Loved the info. I'm considering replacing the entire oil filter housing that's at the back since its slightly warped but enough for it to leak oil when its under heavy load. From what I heard, I should be able to remove the sc and it'll give me plenty of access back there to remove it. Can you confirm? TIA

So I have a question if I have the code p0306 misfire on cylinder 6 I replaced the plug and coil still getting that code but I'm also not loosing antifreeze would u say the intercooler core is still the issue or something else
I'd say it is worth pulling the super charger to look for signs of IC failure. It could also be from bad carbon buildup on the intake valves but that is rare
Cam, thanks again for this great video. I've removed the SC before, but this was a great vid to watch to remind me of what I did before. Do you happen to remember the torque specs for the SC studs when we reinstall? If not, no worries, I can look them up.
