Excellent Video, helped me narrow my problem down as soon as I heard the noise yours was making. Replaced the Blower motor assembly, Heating elements and sensors. Hopefully the dryer will have many years left in it now. Again, Thank you for the video and detailed information.

Perfect video and timing. Just ran into a similar issue (only after dryer is hot and been running for a few min), and was wondering how much work it took to tear down & if it was worth it given the parts cost. Doesn't seem too bad. Thanks for sharing!
You looked perplexed when you were loosening the fan form the motor! Was it hard to come out cause you edited the video. I wanted to see how you did it. Have the same problem, thx in advanced!
My Electrolux is making the same exact noise at startup. Just to confirm it was the blower assembly that was the main problem? Did you think the motor had any problems or did you just replace because you had to take them out together? Thanks!
I replaced blower motor cause the machine is about 10 years old.I just didn't want to replace it a few years down the road.So it didn't need it but wanted to replace it for future longevity.
