That's the conclusion to make when you're watching a video about animals helping people. Now go watch a video on dogs attacking innocent people. Also, the coyote was attacking a small dog - where's his compassion? Nothing like watching a few isolated cases and extrapolating to an entire population.

I didn't really know what to do. Out of nowhere a small Chihuahua came from an alley way and ferociously jumped on the charging dog literally saving me from injury. The other dog was stunned and quickly ran away. I was shocked and amazed. The little pooch just wagged his tail and walked away. I wish I could have rescued him and taken him home. Dogs are amazing.

It can be ether materialistic (screaming, smells) or metaphysical (electromagnetic radiation, spiritual vibration). This is how people can understand when animal need help - we have only materialistic perception. But wise versa - my cat somehow knows when I feel sad and need help and it comes to me.
But how this fish actually said: “I need water” - this is a question.

Me neither and I have a much bigger dog, even bigger than the coyote. But this was a teenage girl and she unwittingly did the only reasonable thing - she set her dog free (as in let go of the leash, as oppososed to for example picking the dog up in her arms which is the dumbest thing) so that it could run and hide. Of course, her running away from a predator is not smart, because it only makes them run faster, but I can understand that fighting a coyote with her bare hands was not much of an option. Luckily the little guy was so brave to defend her owner, that's amazing and as you can see - size isn't everything, because the doggie won. Let's be real here, without the little doggie, the coyote would have caught up with her within seconds.

Was looking for this comment - we've all seen vids/read stories of dogs and owners taking on bears/cougars/birds of prey together, right? I understand everyone has a different response to panic, but I (5'1 F) would have stayed with my dogs (a 50lb pit and a 65lb staffie) to look/seem more threatening (i.e. yell, wave my arms, call for help, throw anything...etc. - running away in fear from a predator only makes it worse); this isn't theory - we did have a showdown once with an aggressive pack of stray dogs on a late-night walk. owners should also know their pet's personality too... for example I know my staffie would run home if given the chance (making dropping the leash MAYBE make sense if you're not worried about your dog running away or getting hit by a car), but my pit would stand her ground and fight, which is what it looks like this tough little yorkie did, making it extremely dangerous to drop it's leash/abandon it... also unlikely for a dog that size to outrun a larger dog. These two were very lucky. Parents of kids who walk their dogs alone should teach them how to react (stray/loose dogs, wildlife, strangers...etc.).

seeing the love and compassion that these animals have is very heart warming.
I once had a dog, I had her for about 12-13 years . I remember the morning of the day that she died and it still brings me to tears, because we grew up together, we played with each other and we loved each other very much. I had more conversations with her than I did with anybody else. And when she died, it broke my heart because she was my best friend.
There were times when i was feeling sad and she could sense it, so she would rub on me or place her head on my shoulder. That gave me so much comfort. She was my best friend. I remember on the days that I had school she would follow me and wait until the bus comes, then she'll go back home. In the evening should would be waiting for me to come back home.
On the morning of the day that she died she had this sad look in her eyes. I had to go out that day and before I left, I called out to her and told her I'll soon be back. But little did I know that was the last time that I would be able to talk to her, hold her, have her rub and cuddle with me. It still hurts me cause I didn't really get to say goodbye, but I'm glad she knew I loved her.

Watching these animals brought tears to my eyes. Absolutely amazing! I truly believe dogs are man's best friend, and other types of animals are equally awesome. Thanks for sharing. P.S. My late dog also saved a life. Once when my mother fell through the ice with no one else around except my dog, he ran back to the camp to go get my dad, who realized that my dog was trying to tell him something was wrong. He kept barking I guess and looking towards the direction where he and my mother went. My dad quickly realized that my dog was trying to alert him that my mother was in distress. He then followed my dog who led the way to my mom where he found her half submerged from the chest down and unable to climb up off the frigid icy water. My dog was a hero that day! ❤

Two strays who had previously been sleeping outside the bar actually followed me home. Not communicating with me, just a couple of steps behind. I felt they were guarding me. At one point I didn't realise I dropped my purse. One had picked it up and carried it in his mouth. They walked me to my door, and slept outside it all night. I was so amazed, and thankful for them.

Animals are so much smarter than we think, they know things even we do not. Animals care way more than humans do.
