Can you eat that kind of fish looks tasty great job but I've never seen the sideways retrieval technique before lol just remember to face towards the fight it will come in alot faster ☺ Congrats on a great looking Rooster
Hi Thanks for watching my video! I am not sure if there is rooster fish in North Carolina. I know there is lots of rooster fish in Mexico. That is were I go to catch those giants roosters on the pacific cost line from shore!!! its so much fun.

If you are going to release , you should do it in the water. That fish may not survive the trama of dry sand , slime removal. The object of release is for the fish to survive , less trama better chance of survival.
