In this edition of Tarikh, Nikhil talks about the high profile death case of Anju Singh, The wife of Suhaib Ilyasi in 2000. Suhaib was anchor of highly popular TV crime show, India Most wanted. In January 2000 after the death of his wife Anju Singh, he was charged with IPC section 304B dowry, death. Ilyasi was first sentenced to life imprisonment by lower court but later High court acquitted him of all the charges. Watch full video to know the complete story.

IPC section 498a is cruelty against women. Abatement to suicide is IPC 306. You should be careful while citing sections. Otherwise the report is quite crisp and interesting.
