I memorized the book of James back in 1987. It was 2021/22 when the book began to be opened to me. All I really understood before was the part about being a double-minded man who should not expect anything from the Lord (James 1:6-8). Because, for about 40 years that is what I was, a double-minded man. God did remind me of those double-minded verses from time to time over those 40 years. Thank God for his mercy that endures forever!
Thanks for this. The last few months I have not been in the word at all, I have been relying on TH-cam videos. I had over 150 in my watch later. I had lists of questions in my notes app I wanted to research. But my faith has been suffering. Disagreements in comments have been an example of something that’s planted doubts. With TH-cam you can watch one video after another easily and not remember deeply what you heard. I was talking to a pastor recently who said that the word should be like my main meal of the day: my bread or cereal, that I need. Anything else like TH-cam videos, questions, books, can be like something on top: Sunday Lunch, jelly beans. But Jelly beans as my only food is not healthy. I have deleted my watch later list and notes and am going to focus on the word this year again. Maybe I’ll have jelly beans here and there but I’m going to have a break from them for now.
Agreed. As much as TH-cam has been a blessing to me for such biblical insight, it’s never a replacement for the Word, and it’s so easy to think you’re ok but nothing replaces quality time with the Bible!

About to lose my job over vaccine mandate. I’m overwhelmed with worry. Seems like everything is falling apart. I’m praying but I feel like I’m completely isolated and left to try and pick up the pieces.

Tell the people to use the audio bibles that are abundant to load on their phones, ipads, ipods and listen to the bible daily, while driving, commuting, housework, yard work etc. The believers have no excuse. Many have given great effort to make this tool available for the believer and the lazy believer can at most read one chapter per day. You can listen to the New Testament in one weekend. Then you will fulfil the words of Jesus, As it is written, they shall all be taught of God. That is the essence of the new covenant.

Been water baptised since 12 26 now, But point is it’s not being used as an excuse anyone who would use childhood to me as an excuse for anything deserve the lords judgment. By refusing to pick up their cross but add to the weight of anyone else’s is reaping what they sow, understand? So long story short. I’ve always known hate and them emotions. But as someone who has never felt or experienced love what am I to do with gods love ? Basically how can I be the person Jesus had In his heart that day on the cross. When I haven’t had nor feel or even understand “Love” Maybe you don’t answer comments I don’t know. But if you do please answer that. If you need more to give an answer just reply or something. Hi, maybe we cant fully understand love by ourselfs cause our love we give to each other is not perfect, we sinners. But the Spirit, stretches our understanding, trough what Jesus did for us, how He lived...He clearly loved everyone. Love comes from God, let us seek understanding from the source of love, I didn't understand it as well but in Gods mercy, He put someone in my life that helped a lot...summarizing we cant understand love unless we are shown and we can't really love without understanding it. The Spirit makes us understand, Jesus makes us see how to love, how love works (literally He hanging on a cross for us), God can demonstrate love in many ways ( the biggest way was/is Jesus) .

As two strangers, sometimes that can be so much better as we can both be honest. I’m torn between what seems to be my human body (sin I believe) if I’m honest, and my souls duty to my lord and saviour Jesus Christ I thought I had loving parents as a child but they were hooked on prescriptions. So it’s left me kind of shaken in some ways in my relationships with other people. I don’t know if for instance I, could be a husband or not and that’s scary. I know no one is perfect and I’m definitely not. But if I can’t be a good honest loving father and husband then I should instead while I’m 26 turn to being the best follower of Christ I can be. That’s what I’m torn between. The only way they could both happen is by the lords grace and people like yourself talking with me to help me understand and come to terms and be what Jesus wants me to be. I don’t want to live my life. I want to live gods life for me Thank you so so much. Instead of sinning by chasing the earths love and god knows my heart down to the last fibre. So if he knows I am willing to give up a wife and children to follow him. Maybe that’s all I’ll ever need. What both of us should do above everything is put God first in our lives, seek a relationship with Him first. No one is perfect indeed ( IF YOU KNEWN ME YOU WOULD CLEARLY SEE IT). We have to "be" Christ towards the other person, in order to treat them well, care for them in the right way. For so us to look like Jesus, we for sure have to spend time with Him, "feeding" our relationship with Him. It's like when you get a habit or custom from someone wich who you spent a lot of time with... Our behavior reflects what we have inside, so lets us allow Jesus to take out what is not good, heal us from possible traumas that somehow are affecting our lives, and may He fills our body with His Spirit... Living begins, continues with Christ despite we want to be married, be that or that....

Be in God's Word daily, such as reading your Bible, alone or with another, or by listening to an audio Bible (David Suchet's reading is excellent).
