are the glass jars being sterilised with the first process of heating the milk?
I wash the glass jars in my dishwasher after using them. If there is enough steam when you heat the milk, yes you could sterilise the jars at the same time!

Is yoghurt successful in one big bowl?
yes this is my method: . 1 litre UHT full fat milk (I suggest Moo organic in blue packaging)
Is it as effective with low fat milk?
It will be ok but it won't come out as thick
