Hey Craigo, would love a video explaining the opportunities and progression in terms of jobs throughout the various stages of CIMA. For example what's available once you've done your certificate, operational, management etc. Cheers!
Thanks for the idea! A very good idea but a very difficult video to execute and be specific on. Each business will operate differently & by large, the progression on roles within 3 years of studying CIMA would be fairly minimal. I do like a challenge though, keep your eyes peeled ;) :)
@@CRAIGO10 - you are giving away so much of your wisdom and personal experience which I’ve endured, having commenced my CIMA journey again 🔥 you don’t understand, unless you’ve gone through exactly what you say. It’s amazing fella 😊. You should be a very proud man
@@CRAIGO10 - had no idea about Astranti mate. I reckon you should partner up with them and get some kick backs as they’re very reasonably priced for their packages, they’re great to talk to as well over the phone as well as online 👍🏽
I have passed my operational OT exams and now I need to prepare for my Operational Case Study but have no idea where to start. I must admit that it is quite intimidating.
They’re tough exams. I cannot stress enough the importance of acquiring the knowledge of all three pillars in depth and also focusing on the writing style required to answer the questions :)
@@CRAIGO10 have you found that the astranti revision classes helped? I feel like I can't remember everything....so I'm considering doing the astranti revision classes and wanted to hear your thoughts.
If I start for SCS from 10th of December seriously like 2-3 hours each day and 4-5 hours on weekend, will I be able to pass in February term? I think it's during 3rd or 4th week of feb. Please tell.
First off congratulations🙌🏽 I'm sure you'll get to it soon but please do a breakdown of your approach to objective test exams and the additional resources that helped you get through each paper.🙏🏼
Hello Craig, just wanted to ask for a short advice from someone who succeeded in getting the CIMA qualification so fast; as embarrassing as it is for me, I'm going to say it; I'm 38 currently, and I've been struggling with this programme for 13 years (I enrolled the first time in 2011); currently I'm trying to pass the Management Level Case Study exam; just wanted to ask, do you think there's any point of me continuing to try to get the qualification? I mention that I have a bachelor's in accounting and I've been working in accounting since then. Thanks
Hi mate, good video. How important is the Pre-seen material in the operational case study? should I memorise the pre-seen or spend more time focusing on the theory and practice questions? Thanks
Hey man! It's important that you have a good understanding of it, especially be aware of ratios and what they tell you. But your real focus should be on the theory & Q practice :)
Sir can interest and curiosity in particularly cost accounting financial management and to an extent statistics probability help in clearing case studies of cima?
An understanding of statistics and probability is useful for Management Accounting, however specifically on a case study you'll only need to know the basics & even then, a question on the topic probably won't come up!
Hey craigo, in this pandemic time most of the classes are online. Do u recommend any online modes for preparing cima or how can it help the students studying cima from various other countries.
Hey! I did all my classes as distance learning (ie pre recorded videos) I tried online live, they’re great but for me they were just a bit too inflexible. I would recommend giving both a try & seeing which one you prefer 😃
Hi! Great video. I sat OCS but it was hard for me to link the scenario that was given in the question with the pre-seen material. Any tips on how to improve this please? I have done so much research, industry analysis, and theory revision but not sure what I am missing....
Glad it was helpful! If you are sitting a tuition course join a whatsapp group and leverage your ideas off of them, very helpful as will give you a new dynamic of ideas. I would say just keep doing what you've been doing. Sometimes application isn't about creating an idea from something you've read but instead simply linking back to the original question. IE. If the question asks for recognising assets under IAS 16, the application is that you reference the assets mentioned in the question & then apply the standard IAS 16 into the example & evaluate whether or not you can capitalise the asset. Keep running over CS past papers & model answers to evaluate how they are applying to the question. Do more mocks & get more feedback, feedback is key in case studies. Hope this helps!
I wrote my ocs exam I I didn't pass the exam please give me some advice to pass the exam. I prepared very hard for the exam I don't know what to do please help me man
Four key areas to focus on. 1. Know the accountancy standards off of the back of your hand. 2. Know the Management Accounting techniques in depth. 3. Learn theory & models 4. Practice question practice and be confident in the style required for the exam. If you do that you’ll be just fine!

However I’m keen to get the extra basic package case study analysis by Astranti priced at £245. I want to ask whether you have a discount code if I put this through your link? Also, do you think this is a sensible approach or overkill?

OCS 113
MCS 101
SCS 94
By SCS my motivation had decreased, revision wasn’t as as much, knew I knew enough to pass 😂

dear one question is case study paper based or computer based

Does English 6.5 IELTS enough for answer quality ?
I’m afraid I’m to old to understand what 6.5 IELTS is/is worth? Unfortunately my age has double since I left the mandatory education system 😅
how do I get past cima questions
You can’t buy past CIMA questions, you can however buy question banks, Astranti is one I recommend!
