Kelly Preston so beautiful. Gone way too soon. Rip
Damn, I didn't know that. RIP.
I had no idea either… she died during the lockdown times too. Breast cancer…
I agree 👍 💯
You know what’s crazy? Mary Anne Benedict (Bonnie Bartlett) is still alive at 94. Amazing.
She’s married to Mr. Feeny from Boy Meets World, and he’s still alive at 97.
@@CP81 that is SO COOL!!!
@@Anwelei I actually got to meet them at a convention recently. We talked about how there should’ve been a sequel. She said they waited too long. 😂
@@CP81 Bonnie Bartlett and William Daniels are about to celebrate their 73rd wedding anniversary. They also played a (frequently troubled) married couple on _St. Elsewhere_ (Daniels as arrogant, overbearing surgeon Dr. Mark Craig, Bartlett as his beleaguered wife Ellen), and won Emmys for their roles the same year.
Twins and Tango & Cash are two examples of how awesome movies were in the late 80's.
I loved Teri Hatcher in Tango & Cash!
Jason Momoa and Peter Dinklage once expressed an interest in doing a Twins remake together.
I can see that being awesome!
I would watch that!
Nah, The Rock and Jack Black..
Oh yeah, forgot about Jason Momoa, he would be perfect!
While I would be down for that pairing in a remake - I am still holding out hope of a sequel with Arnold and Danny. Even though it's way, way past the point it should have been made now, I'd still watch it in a heartbeat.
Keep up the good work. I'm 61yrs.old with bouts of depression, when I start feeling shitty.I turn you on your reactions are priceless.I watched you watching raising Arizona least 10 times.
EOM is great that way. When I have a crappy day, he makes me smile. God bless him.
We're here watching with you. EOM is awesome.
A lot of people I think think Arnold is a one note actor but he's actually a splendid actor and capable of all sorts of characters and this is one of his very best performances playing a naive and lovably innocent fellow although he still has his badass capability but here it's endearing rather than mean. Great reaction.
Take out the paper and the trash, or you wont get no spending cash...=)
You ain’t gonna rock n roll no more
Yackity Yack Yackity Yack
Don’t talk back
Just tell your hoodlum friends outside
You ain’t got time to take a ride
@@FabledHeroes3351MARNIE!?
If you don't scrub that kitchen flooah😅
I believe this is no joke the first movie with Arnold in it that I ever saw in the theaters.
So that was Heather Graham at the start of the film, and the blonde love Interest of Arnold was Kelly Preston (John Travoltas Wife) who tragically passed away a few years ago
Oh wow… he also lost a son, didn’t he?
@@tdeo2141yeah he did 😔
@@michele36618 that's pretty sad, poor guy.
Yeah Arnie and Sly were taking shots at each other back then
You might like a movie called "Throw Momma from the Train" from around this time. I used to get in trouble saying money talks and bs walks after seeing this movie when I was around 8 😂
Schwarzenegger would be amazing as a guest on It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia.
With a running joke of folks confusing him for Frank.
I think they stopped making custom songs for movies after TMNT when they knew that song could never be topped.
BRO have you seen these other Danny Devito movies?
1.Ruthless People 2.Romancing The Stone 3.War Of The Roses 4.Head Office 5.Throw Mama From The Train 6.Other Peoples money 7.Renaissance Man 8.Junior 9.Get Shorty 10.The Big Kahuna 11.Heist 12.Drowning Mona 13.Deck The Halls
These two only appeared in two movies together, but their pairing has been beloved ever since, and even referenced from time to time. (DeVito also had a small vocal role in Schwarzenegger's Last Action Hero). There were long-existing plans of doing a sequel to this movie, which were often publicly discussed. Titled, Triplets, they would come to realize they had another brother in... Eddie Murphy. No joke. But with Ivan Reitman's passing, I think plans fell away with the project finitely.
The movie that flat out showed Ahnold's comedic chops.
Absolutely one of my favorites! Now he has to watch Junior!
@JosephPerdue1789 I LOVE IT SO MUCH , I watched it so much as a kid you could never make me hate it lol I bet you think Glitter is a bad movie too!
Yes. I love junior. So much fun.
The two guys trying to steal from Arnold at the beginning reminds me of the real life incident about a half decade ago when Arnold was appearing at an event and a normal sized dude came running up behind him at full speed and drop kicked him in his back with both feet, Arnold moved Forward like maybe a foot bumping into some people and apologized before turning around to see what happened, it was like someone just bumped into him in the back not ran full speed and drop kicked him when he was 70 yrs old, he didn't Even realize he had been assaulted ,lol ,absolute legend.
I'm pretty sure that was shaq. He loves mosh pits reportedly.
@@karlajaeger2082it was Arnold.
@@karlajaeger2082 haha didn't know that about Shaq, but no this was def Arnold I searched it out again after I wrote this and it was in Johannesburg SA in 2019
@@RussellCHall you're right, my mistake.
@@karlajaeger2082 And you were so right about Shaq and Mosh pits , so fun to watch the big man surrounded by normal size people moshing away. 😊
I think this is the dynamic they’ve been trying out with The Rock and Kevin Hart
This worked better
What we REALLY need is Tony Cox and Shaquille O'Neal to make a movie together.
Them two on some Die Hard hostage situation shit would be S-tier
Jason Mamoa and Peter Dinkladge.
That would be too predictable
Arnold's comedy side and movies are underrated. This one, Junior, Kindergarten Cop are all great. When he's drunk in Red Sonja and says, "lot on your knife" while trying to say, "not on your life" was so damn hilarious when I first saw that way back when. Arnie's humor is slept on.
My favorite part is the lady he said looks like she could be Heather Graham’s mom is actually Heather Graham.
Ya, in his defence she went about 30yrs looking exactly the same
I used to sing that song take out the paper and the trash to my third grade teacher who made me sing it almost everyday because she knew it was from this movie , just talked to her this year imagine 40 something years ! First thing she did was ask me to sing it to her lmfao
Ivan Reitman knew was he was doing when Devito and Schwarzenegger were cast.
Kelly Preston was such a gorgeous woman that married a weirdo, John Travolta. She was awesome in Preacher Man
They’d talked about doing a sequel where they find out they’re really triplets and their other brother is Eddie Murphy. I would’ve loved that.
That is heather graham lol
The blonde lady in the blue dress is Kelly Preston(she passed away several years ago)
That dude who gave him the money played the Dad of all the twins in Raising Arizona.
How about instead of the 5 million dollars I'll give you a line of credit at my store that's how I'd prefer to handle it come on down and see me at unpainted beetroot...
The 1980's was the heyday for the movie soundtracks of songs written specifically for the movie. Things started getting a bit out of hand when they started turning to extremely successful popstars who began demanding more and more money and then the fad somewhat faded away. Outside of popstars writing music, Kenny Loggins was probably the most successful songwriter for movie soundtracks from both a popularity and longevity standpoint.
Yeah, I think the trend ended around the very early 90's.
I think the BeeGees sold more albums, but Kenny Loggins was a rock soundtrack beast
Tonight is your night, bro.
My mom worked at the store where they filmed them meeting the ladies. It was a Vons in San Dimas and we were able to be there and see Danny and Arnold.
This was the first Arnold movie I ever saw, just a 6 year old tyke. 90% of the jokes went over my head, but I wore out the VHS tape. Loved this movie.
Twins is outrageously funny. They were a good pair for the duo on this film.
Danny devito on set got Arnold stoned by putting weed in his stogie lol!!! Arnold tells the story.
Arnold used to smoke weed in the 70s, so was probably some fun nostalgia.
Arnold only stopped bc it oddly is considered a performance enhancing drug. But he was a huge pothead.
This movie was so different. One of the few where Arnold is goofy and innocent 😂 I'm glad J liked it.
Keep on the Danny Devito "mama" theme. Time for "Throw Momma From The Train".
Frank Reynolds early years. It's always sunny should have Arnold guest stare as Franks twin.
"Who would be a good pair (for a remake)?"
Norm and Chet from Fallout.
dude you are so right
Arnold took comedy lessons from Milton Burrell , for this movie if I remember right. They did guest appearances on the Johnny Carson show for the movie twins.
"If they remade this today, who would be a good pair to put into this situation?"
That's simple, two guys who already have great chemistry together and are polar opposites in every sense: Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart
Hehe, they’re funny together for sure…
Hey that’s my idea!
You’ll love this movie. Still one of my favs!
Yep, Arnold and Sly were rivals back in the day and tried to outdo each other in their movies.
For years and mean like 20 or so years they wanted to do a sequel called triplets where they learn there's another brother played by Eddie Murphy.
They pay tribute Arnold and Sly are actually really good friends always have been
One Danny DeVito movie that often gets overlooked is Ruthless People, which also stars Bette Midler, Judge Reinhold and Helen Slater. I think you'd like it.
You gotta watch "Junior" next, with both of them in it again. It's great.
If they redid this today, I think maybe Dave Bautista and Ryan Reynolds would be gold
I was born in 1990 and I remember when dirty magazines were just out on the shelves at gas stations 😆
Not the “Pistol Pete” socks, tho. Hahaha. I haven’t seen this for decades. Haha
Kelly Preston (RIP) was most definitely a vision in this film.
Fantastic reaction as ALWAYS!! I'd LOVE to see a rewatch Wednesday for Junior!! It's my favorite Arnold movie!!!
The names of the twins in this movie, Julius and Vincent were the names of the 2 main characters from Pulp Fiction. This movie is full of all sorts of things that later movies seemed to make nods to. I had to chuckle to myself when the bad guy in this movie got the chains dumped on him and Arnold was right there, but Danny was the one who was allowed to give the one-liner.
Also, when my girlfriend's son needs to take out the trash, I play the clip of Arnie singing Yakety Yak. Classic.
I just realized the recessive gene bullshit from Metal Gear Solid is basically Twins. Hahahaha.
Reminds me of another Danny DeVito movie where he has great chemistry but with Billy Crystal…Throw Momma From a Train!! “OWEEEEEN!!!!”
Twins is such a classic 80s movie. Love this movie.
I loved your reaction! Such a great, light-hearted movie.
You mentioned junior that took me back too. Had that on vhs as well.
I still love, "He's got on his OJs." I use that line.
Was gifted a membership. Thank you so much. 🎉
I had this and Commando on the same vhs which was recorded. Talk about nostalgia.
Jingle all the way is a good film as well!
Kelly Preston was just...a whole other level of beauty.
Awesome reaction and Kelly Preston was one of the most gorgeous women, her chemistry with Arnold was good in this.
That girl was giving Arnold the Austin Powers pose. Grrr baby! Yea!!
I’m ready for this. I need the laughs.
I think Arnold and DeVito made the most money of their careers from this film. They took little, or no salary upfront and instead took a percentage of the profits (if there were any) bc the studio had no faith in Arnold as a comedic actor and thought the movie would lose money. They each made something like $40 million from this film.
Supposedly there’s “Twiiins” in the making where Arnold and Danny have a lost third twin.. their triplet….. Tracy Morgan lol no joke
5:12 The guy grabbing Arnold’s bag, is actually a stuntman who has worked with Arnold on several movies.
And you literally just saw the guy playing Beetroot McKinley in Raising Arizona, he played Nathan Arizona.
Thanks for mentioning Junior! I love that movie!!
I seen Danny DeVito in an interview not that long ago and he said they were thrown around ideas for a second twins movie where they find out they have another brother and they were floating Eddie Murphy as the other brother… So they would’ve been triplets
That sounds like a hysterical movie to me
It would have been! Any ideas as to why they never made it?
Has he reacted to Multiplicity yet? That would be an amazing reaction. 😂
It's both tribute ansld shots they huge friends but action rivals
22:44 answers to who they should use to remake this today. Sadly The Rock and Kevin Heart.
Love this movie. I went around for weeks telling adults the secret to eggplant parmasan.
11:08 - None of us knew that bit of info about the car alarm until we saw this movie. 😉
hey EOM my father died 3 weeks ago on the 3 of may 2024 😔this is why I wasn't on for a while - but it's good to see you still having fun with the movies - this is a good movie for the 80s 😁
We'll call you "little left-overs"..."I thought that was her, walking the next morning"....Hilarious!!!!
Twins is my most favorite film, mostly because of the dynamic and chemistry between Arnold Schwarzenegger & Danny DeVito. Glad you took time to react to this film. I haven’t watched Junior since forever. I remember watching bits and pieces of it, but not from beginning to end.
Anyways, great reaction.
I'm impressed that you played this. Most younger people don't know Danny DeVito had a career prior to Always Sunny.
Hello copilots!
He was good as the Penguin in Batman - too good, I hated his character in that movie.
Awesome reaction as always man. I saw this in the theater as a kid, loved it ever since.
Kelly Preston (Travolta), she’s crazy in Jerry Maguire A real awesome movie with Renée Zellweger and Cuba Gooding JR, Jerry Maguire is played by Tom Cruise.
TWINS is 80s and Jerry Maguire is 90s. 🔥
Man I cried a little too in the end scene of your reaction. Love what you said.
Arnold and Stalone were frenemies for years he tricked Stalone into doing Stop or my mum will shoot by making out he really wanted it
Stallone really didn’t have a talent for comedies. Fun action movies, yes, comedies no.
the last time music was made specifically for a movie that I recall was for the Tron Legacy movie. Daft Punk did the music and made songs specifically for the movie.
I had this on VHS tape 🤣 I haven’t saw this since I was a kid wow
Hope you are having an great and awesome day ❤
@4:47 It's half tribute half messing with each other. Arnold and Sly had a fun rivalry back in the day. There's a funny video of Arnold bragging that his "knife" from Predator is bigger than the Rambo knife.
I haven't seen this in idk how long it was fun watching with you great reaction btw. Miracles and blessings to you and yours much luv ✌️ 💜 🙏.
If you've never seen #Boomerang Please, please, please consider watching it. You think THAT neighbor was a hater? She's an amateur. Eddie Murphy, Halle Berry, Martin Lawrence, Chris Rock, David Allen Grier, Robin Givens.... so many stars.
You are forgetting the scene stealers in that movie John Witherspoon, Grace Jones and Eartha Kitt! Maaarcus 😂
I thought about that movie too when the neighbor came over.....LOL!!!
@@jgarofalo8813 I didn't forget, Most 80's babies don't know Eartha Kitt & Grace Jones. They seldom recognize Weatherspoon's name.
BRO i know you done some other Arnold Schwarzenegger movies but how about these?
1.Conan The Barbarian 2.Conan The Destroyer 3.The Running Man 4.Red Heat 5.Junior 6.Eraser 7.Jingle All The Way 8.Escape Plan 9.The LAst Stand
This was a great 80's movie. Another one I love but haven't seen any reactions on is My Blue Heaven. Steve Martin is in it as well as Rick Moranis. If you haven't seen it, you should. I know you would love it.
They both played villains in Batman movies. Danny DeVito played The Penguin in Batman Returns and Arnold Schwarzenegger played Mr. Freeze in Batman and Robin.
The parking lot attendant is David Caruso. You may remember him being the face of CSI: Miami
Might be my favorite movie with Arnold he was great in comedy!
“You don’t know what the hell this is, do you?”
The proper answer to that question would be…
“Something worth five million dollars.”
Kelly Preston was absolutely gorgeous.
That is Heather Graham lol also the late Kelly Preston as Arnold's girl friend
Not Chris Jericho lol. I wasn't expecting to hear that but yeah I can see it lol.
Hey EOM.love your reactions, especially with films with my 2nd cousin. He died in 1989 of brain problems...Raising Arizona was his best film as the dad.
I like the fact a Mister Freeze and Penguin team up movie.
It is kind of funny that the film started with Megabyte (ReBoot) narrating.
PS: I bet big baby was saying to the nurse holding his twin in his baby language *I need your clothes, your boots and your motorcycle* .
