@@BumpyBonesLocksport Well, I have the 530DF model and DEFINITELY feel your frustration with the C-clip! Had the same issue trying to remove it. Never did get it off! Argh. EXCELLENT video though, but the challenge I had was that the actuator and spring -- as well as the ball bearings -- all fell out. It was the actuator and spring that I haven't been able to figure out how to re-assemble. I'm going to go check out your American Lock video though, so that may solve my challenge. I'm still incredibly humbled and honored that you took the time to do the video. You have great content and I see your channel continuing to grow. Keep the vids coming, sir!
I don’t know why you would want to disassemble the top of the plug housing. The only reason I would do that is if it was master Pin, sometimes the little master wafers will stay up in the top of the housing plus, you should probably mark the front of that housing so you don’t put the plug-in the wrong end just take a black marker before you disassemble and mark the top facing the front of that housing
I did it in order to swap out the driver pins with other security pins that I make to make them more of a challenge. I also am planning (at some point) to make a couple of challenge locks out of the Master Lock M530s.
@ I just did a whole video on those things they’re junk. I get them for 12 bucks apiece and the cylinders for three dollars 0 bitt How to Re-key a Master Padlock in just a few minutes th-cam.com/video/NaEkAtFflk4/w-d-xo.html
@ hope my video is helpful to you. This is the way they sell them now they’re all five pin and I did find a key that you can add the extra pin and the keys long enough to utilize that fifth chamber, which makes it impossible for the. Lishi picks to work because they’re only 4Pin. in depth, so if you wanna make one of your padlocks using the new improved models, which only work now in the new improved locks, they will not work in the old ones because of the tail peace configuration you can add that extra pin and stop all your lock, picking buddies whoever they may be from using a M4 Lishi
@ imagine this master padlock company does not make a five pin length key in the M4. Oh, I’m sorry M1 configuration. I don’t know why I’m saying him for it’s M1. Here’s the only key in the world that you can buy off the shelf that works for the extra pin length. It only took me three days of calling everyone on the planet going through many Tech-Support gurus here it is free of charge. It’s an ILCO Ez key # VR91AR EZ# …VR7 the company that these keys are made for you know to fit is VIRO….
Very nicely done
Thanks!
