i know that this wan't my best game but hey, we lost against the champions league winner and if we meet munich this peroid again i swear that i will lead Juve to the victory! forza Pirlo
Yes. His worst game by far! Pirlo as all the majority of the great playmakers ( Registas and classic number ten) has one major weakness in this modern game who put emphasis on brute strength and pace: They are SLOW... i mean he is a great technician on the ball but if the opponent team put pressure on him , he can't develop his game anymore. Give them no time and space on the ball, they are done...Reminds me a bit of Juan Roman Riquelme.( Pirlo was a Trequartista at the beginning). Both players, At their best, an absolute pleasure to watch.
It also depends on his form and on the players surrounding Pirlo. You know, Pirlo in 2012-13 was no longer the one we saw in his prime in 2004-2007. At that time he was also surrounded by players like Kaka, Gattuso, Seedorf, who were able to offer him much more support than Marchiso, Vidal. It was much harder to contain Pirlo when he was at his prime. Just look at Xavi, when he was surrounded by Messi, Busquets, Iniesta, Alonso, Silva, it made him look invincible.
True. But Roman was a tank on the ball and usually performed superbly even when pressured which is something Pirlo has lacked throughout his career. I don't think Pirlo would have been successful had he played in the hole, regista position gives him much more space.
@@JSO-bn6qjthat's true, but, except for the first year at juventus when milan was still strong, he was the only legend remained after 2012, sinceramente then the worst period in recent history of serie a began. What i am trying to say is that he was by far the most important player in serie a when he was at Juventus but there was no competition for that. When he was at Milan he was of course better (i mean mvp of the world cup final, are we joking?) but there were even more important players in those years in italy
Good to see you got it up.
Bad game for Andrea, & Juve as a whole. :(
Hopefully he can run the show, in Turin.
Since bayern pressure so much it's hard for pirlo to play his usual style
Anyway, i still love him _ Pirlo
this was last season, but maybe we see munich next year again in the champions league ;)
take care ;)
there is only one April 5, 2013
