My experience seeing them in Baltimore left me amazed. They are so professional in thier showmanship. The vocal and instrumental accuracy is almost superhuman. Their abilities to stay on time and "in the pocket" for every. Single. Song!
Dany lights up the room and seems to make eye contact with every corner of the room. I think the anchor for Dany is the mic stand but another factor is stage size (passing space). They seem to cross over more at the Teatro and Pepsi Center shows than they do at smaller venues.
I was on the rail right in front of Ale for this show. It was a great vantage point to see everything and get some great photos while watching these girls rock. I was equally impressed with Holy Wars as they put on a great show and really wound the crowd up. I saw The Warning in 2023 at St. Andrews Hall ... about the same size as the Majestic, almost exactly a year before on the ERROR tour. I am admittedly spoiled as I am used to seeing mostly Japanese acts that are well rehearsed and sound much like they do in the studio, live. Bands like BAND MAID, Hanabie, Fate Gear and Rolling Quartz out of Korea ... and The Warning is of the same caliber as all of those bands .... and BAND MAID sets the bar pretty high. This was a great show overall and as you said, very professionally done. One of the best values for your entertainment dollar ever.
Watching The Warning live is full body experience. You can watch all the videos you want about them, nothing of that prepare you to see them live. Greatness is their manifest destiny.
Dany Face is a real thing. I have not seen a 3-piece band put up a wall of sound like this since 70's and early 80's ZZ Top live shows. The Warning doesn't just put up a wall of sound, they pulverize it.
Glad you enjoyed your experience. What I simply couldnt understand was how amazing their voices sounded. Ive seen bands with as much energy, I’ve seen bands that were technically proficient. But I’ve never heard an artist sound that consistently great, even surpassing the album version. All while being as energetic as a punk band and playing immaculate like a classical orchestra. I rank it as the best concert I’ve ever been to.
Kat Leon of Holy Wars co-wrote The Warning's "Satisfied". I was feeling the bass and drums for the next day after seeing them live. A couple of years ago, Pau broke the kick drum at a show where they opened for Halestorm. She uses heavier sticks than what she used to to reduce the number of sticks she breaks, but she still does it from time to time and if you aren't watching closely, you'll not even notice that she changed sticks. At a show in Corpus Cristi, Pau lost her left drumstick while playing Evolve. They were two bars from the end of the song. Pau rapidly switched her right stick to her left hand and continued playing drums to the conclusion with one drum stick and her bare hand. I thinkDany nad Ale usually switch places during at least one song in a set. But I think it may be the newer setlist they are playing because Dany can only do it when she isn't doing vocals or there is a long enough gap in the song without vocals. I know why she uses a Shure wireless mic on a stand that she takes in hand whenever she isn't playing the guitar, but if she wore a headset like Pau does, she could sing wherever she is on stage. The quality of her vocals would be affected, though. Dany fairly often adjusts the volume of her vocal by backing off the mic a bit. Also, the quality of the headset mics is not the same as a Shure mic. I also noticed that at this show Ale seemed to be stikk, like her back was bothering her. You can see it when they take a bow at the end and when they suat down on the floor for the picture. Ale is pretty much standing throughout that.
Their energy live is palpable. The excitement of the audience and the power of the band is like a keg of gunpowder that is ignited with the first note they play. It is quite a sight to behold!
I've noticed Ale in recent videos favoring her back. Hoping she takes care of it, hate seeing these girls hurting 😢. The road is so grueling on them. ❤⚡️ DPA⚡️❤
Dany has in passing mentioned a headset mic. The only problem with that is she would lose mic control. Singers can affect volume and dynamics by moving closer or further from their mic. That is why she dismissed the idea quickly.
Watch the closing bows and their pose with the crowd it looked as though Ale was having lower back discomfort. Here’s hoping she is able to recover quickly. LONG LIVE THE VILLARREAL SISTERS!
Thanks for your review. Still haven't seen them in concert. Some day soon I hope! I heard about Holy Wars about 2 weeks ago with their tie-in with the Warning. They helped write 'Satisfied' with them. I looked them up on TH-cam and was really impressed. They label themselves as Punk-metal. Love the energy and creativity they have. I'm digging my rabbit hole as we speak!
Awesome that you got to go to The Warning concert! I went to the Cleveland show, and was 3rd from the rail right in front of Ale - was fun to watch her playing bass. During Hoy Wars set, it looked like Kat was crowd surfing during a song so that seems to be a feature. And The Warning just look so at ease during these concerts like you said.
Ale and Dany change places at the end of Enter Sandman, but I suspect they won’t be playing that anymore routinely, except maybe at their big Mexican shows. Ale also started off D2D on Dany’s side at the Pepsi Center, but I think that isn’t routinely on their shorter set list. 😎👍

All 3 of them are outstanding at their craft and enjoyable to watch. I thought it was cool that Dany pet the little stuffed shark on the amp during Sharks. 🤘

Sounds like you had a great time, despite the car issues. One day I'll get to see them, so far they've never been to Buffalo. Retiring in less than 2 years, will have to make a road trip then, if they don't come here first. They're not going south after the west leg, they are going North, through Canada with Evanescence and Halestorm in October. Freeze the Fall has tickets to the Kelowna show, that's a band I'd like to see open for TW. If they add more dates , it would have to be in November or later next year. Feb they play in Mexico, and going to Europe in April.

Glad you enjoyed the show. I saw them last year in Atlanta and it was incredible. I was supposed to go to Atlanta Friday to see them again but it was postponed due to the hurricane. I'll for sure be there when it's rescheduled. As you said if you have any opportunities to see them live, go!
Thanks man! Glad (and a bit jealous) you finally got to see them! Aren't they amazing? And if they were a little prettier I would even compare them to Rush.
Thank You for taking the time to fill us in on your experience! Was going to this show, but things happened, and I had to cancel. You, unfortunately, made me feel even more regret that things didn't work out with your glowing review! Saw them last year at St. Andrews, but, I need another dose of this band.........soon!
It was nice meeting you at the show! My friend Tim talked to you a lot since he was closer to you. I’m guessing it was about Judas Priest since we had just seen them a week earlier in Milwaukee! Great review and reaction! Keep up the great work! 🤘🏻
I saw them with Hero the Band and thought those guys were great. Also, it's pretty cool that Hero the Band are all brothers and The Warning are all sisters.
I enjoy your reaction and agree that a Pau and Ale’s sound has to be felt! Dany is such a great front person. I saw them n Boston and had the same experience! They’re at a level of a great athlete that gets in a zone. By the way I like your Sutton Hoo helmet. 🤟Viva The Warning
Thank you for this. I’m hoping they coming to my area in the near future; they only came for a festival, and the lineup was otherwise pretty dismal so I’m skipping it. When I did see them last, I was impressed by Holy Wars for pretty much the same reasons you were, especially Kat’s energy and their industrial sound.
Great reaction enjoyed your review thank you. I saw a few fan cams from this show and it looked awesome yours was very good loved your position to the stage. The picture with Holy Wars was cool to see. 🔥⚡
After getting the "FastPass" entry for LOVEBITES when they played in Dallas and having it get me into the A/C and bathrooms 40 minutes before everyone else AND allowing me to get close to the stage, it is going to be a regular thing. An extra $20 to bypass the line AND be 2-3 rows back from the stage? Oh hell yeah!
They wil be back next year, they have rescheuled the Atlanta concert for Sppt 27 2025. and I assume the Nashville concert that was posponed will be very close to that.
You were to my right. I was 3rd row center. I agree with you on that it would be nice to see the sisters to switch sides. I was very impressed on the quality of their sound. It looked like Ale had a soar back, her movements were a little different. She also didn't take a bow. You know that you're doing well when the crowd is singing every song. The one thing that I wonder about is, they 4 albums and only play a little over and hour. I came over from Windsor to see an outstanding show. They delivered.
The Warning... one of the Best Bands in the World!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Two of my favorite bands are Unleash the Archers and Lacuna Coil. One main reason is they have no problem playing major festivals or small venues. I've seen Lacuna Coil in concert and they rocked the hell out of the 900 seat venue as if it were Wacken. UTA I haven't seen because I'm in a concert desert of sorts. Point is I hope The Warning doesn't turn into a band that turns up playing small venues. I don't think they will. And yeah had an opportunity to see The Warning with Halestorm and The Pretty Reckless but no money. I think I made it up seeing Zebra perform in its entirety their debut album. ⚡🤘
Boy that camera's mic was not happy with the volume level, lot's of clipping/distortion. If the camera has manual level adjustments (vs just the more typical AGC function), then it needs to come down (but I realize it is hard to test this in advance). Glad you enjoyed the show.
Oh, I am aware! It was still set at the level that worked for LOVEBITES. LOL The bass level of The Warning dwarfed LOVEBITES! Now, that impresses the hell out of me!
Their stage movement vis-a-vis crossing from one side to the other is very limited by the technology they use for their instruments. Dany's Kemper pedel board is required for her to change the voicings of her guitar. Ale's bass has a simpler setup but she is still anchored to it. While it is not a solution available today, as the size of the venues continue to grow, each can get a tech that will control the pedal board for them - if they desire. This is the method that most guitarist who also sing and move around use. It takes a more sophisticated setup with the right techs, and a great FOH mixer and all the other things you expect from a band who can fill larger size rooms. I suspect they will either be in 1500 to 2500 seat places or second on the bill for a main line tour. This will provide them the revenue to continue to grow. One of the things you can say about TW is that they have ALWAYS been willing to invest in providing the fans a great show or experience in general, even here in social media. So i suspect for the next record tour we will see those changes that growth allows.
Pretty sure I was just behind you and to your right at the concert. You are a very tall gentlemen and were wearing an "Invincible Shield" jacket? Didn't realize it was you at the time or I would have said "Hi." The back of your coat features prominently in some of my pictures. 😀 It was a fantastic show and The Warning sounded awesome! My problem with Holy Wars was I felt their sound setup was not as good as it could have or should have been. The instruments overwhelmed Kat's vocals. While The Warning's vocals were crystal clear and I could pretty much understand every word, I couldn't tell what Kat was singing because all I could hear was instruments. Kat was quite the entertainer, though, and was all over the stage. I was very surprised and impressed with how prompt everything was. Holy Wars came on stage and started right on time and like you said, they changed over very efficiently. Even the band members came back out to help switch over. Was my first The Warning concert and actually my first concert in at least 10 years. I was worried I would be disappointed due to all the online hype about how good their concerts are but I was not even remotely disappointed. It was outstanding! They sounded awesome and were every bit as charismatic onstage as what you would expect from watching the videos on their TH-cam channel. Was also my first time at the Majestic Theater and I enjoyed the venue as well. Sadly for me it will probably be the last time I get the opportunity to see them in a smaller venue and that I missed out on the meet and greet. I don't think they are going to be playing venues that size much longer just like you said.
I am calling it now - next time they are in Detroit they play at the Fillmore - 2800 capacity. That was indeed me in the Judas Priest "Invincible Shield" vest. That was my second concert in about 20 years. Since then I have seen Orbit Culture, LOVEBITES, and now The Warning. This coming Friday and Sunday I will be chasing FAUN from Detroit to Chicago, and I'm November, I have a ticket for Baby Metal in Indianapolis. I think I am making up for lost time...
@@ThePentagenarian Heck by next year they may have blown up enough to go straight to Pine Knob and their 15k seating capacity! It would be awesome to see them have that kind of success. Even if it was not as a headlining act but as part of a festival it would still be a big success for them. Hope you have a great time at all those concerts!
I’m glad you had a blast, I really didn’t expect anything different! I agree, they are the future of rock. And I’d like someone to name a front person in rock right now that’s better than Dany, I’ll wait. ⚡️🤘
I saw Holy Wars twice now. Last time there sound wasn’t quite right in my opinion. They were great except her voice was real loud compared to the guitars being not loud enough. Just some adjustments. The Warning was great live as always. Their sound is perfect as always. Seen them 4 times. However I can’t stand concerts anymore, my wife and I were hurting. We’re 58 years old it gets tough. Still it was great. We saw them Pittsburgh.
Not sure about them coming back to the US anytime soon, as for Rock concerts for non-legacy bands, the US & Canada is unfortunately a mediocre market right now, meanwhile in Europe they have already played the main stage at huge festivals, and booked multi-thousands capacity venues and are already on their way to selling them out, same for Mexico with them selling out the Auditorio Nacionale twice next February at 10k capacity and I suspect that it will be the same when they go back to South America, so I suspect that the US/Canada are not as important a market for them right now, plus they have already toured there multiple times in the past few years.
Glad you had a good time in Detroit. Plus I'm also glad you saw *The Well Oiled Rock Band called The Warning.* From their absolute first video of Dany, Pau & Ale playing as a rock band doing a Kiss cover song of an 1973 *Argent* single called *"God Gave Rock & Roll To You"* at their school Christmas Festival (2012). th-cam.com/video/C_4Lfd3R2cs/w-d-xo.html To small stages where things go wrong. Taking on board about their ages relative to other bands it just makes me think that they'll have to pace themselves a bit more. Touring is exhausting and as much for them, but also for us I would like it if they just stopped touring for a few months so that they can gather themselves together to start creating and producing their 5th Album. It's almost like they need to go back to how they lived during the pandemic (not really, but you'll get it) where they had time to write and to do vlogs and bake and have midnight concerts and all that. I would absolutely hate it if they got burnt out and started to actually resent playing these fantastic tunes! That leads to another issue. They have too many fantastic songs! I have never come across a band with such a massive catalogue of superbness! If they then hit us with another blockbuster album they will need to play, like, 5 hour sets just to play all the good ones! Anyway, my point is that they have time on their side, and this isn't a sprint race.
Hi Man... Did you like The Cult when they were called Southern Death Cult? Because I do, I have a playlist of gothic music from the 80s and 90s... I also like Judas Priest and Iron Maiden (from Paul Dianno to date)... And now, The Warning, GREAT!... I agree with you, you have to be patient, it's a band still in formation... just remember that they started playing in front of family and friends, I think it was less than 100 people... then in forums like: Dakota Bar Agua Fría Bar (maybe 100 o 150 seats) Lunario, Mexico City (500 seats) Teatro Metropolitan, Mexico City (3,000 seats) Pepsi Center, Mexico City (8,000 seats) Auditorio Nacional, Mexico City, coming soon February 2025 (10,000 seats) Greetings brother from Mexico 🤘😎🤘
Thank you for stopping by and leaving a comment. It's always good to hear someone refer to the Paul Dianno days! One of my favorite Maiden songs has always been "Remember Tomorrow" .
I heard you scream "YEEEEAAAHH" at the beginning of Evolve. I'm sure it was your voice. To get guys our age (I'm actually older) to emote like that tells ya something! And yesh ... Ale was having some trouble there with her back at the ending bow. Even Pau put her hand on Ale's back during the photo. Trust me I know ... those damn tour bus bunks. Some days you wake up all twisted and your body just says "nope, not today".
When I saw FAUN last weekend their "Tour Bus" consisted of a Transit van and a U-Haul trailer. Two of their members are 6'2"+. I have no idea how they were even standing for the shows. LOL
I’m kidding of course. Good that you finally got to experience it. First time I ever saw them was in Mexico City when they opened for Foo Fighters, and literally the reason I went to that concert. I can’t wait to see them in LA next month. Great review as always. Cheers!
Watch the closing bows and their pose with the crowd it looked as though Ale was having lower back discomfort. Here’s hoping she is able to recover quickly. LONG LIVE THE VILLARREAL SISTERS!
Looked like she was trying not to lose her pants. The battery pack was weighing them down. You can see her pull them back up, again, when she lets go of Pau's hand.
My experience seeing them in Baltimore left me amazed. They are so professional in thier showmanship. The vocal and instrumental accuracy is almost superhuman. Their abilities to stay on time and "in the pocket" for every. Single. Song!
Yes! It was fun to watch Dany give Pau a little crap about breaking her set!
They've filled two night at Auditorium CDMX with 10.000 crowd x night!!!!
You probably meant they’ve sold out 2 nights at the National Auditorium in CDMX. These concerts are scheduled for early next year.
Dany lights up the room and seems to make eye contact with every corner of the room. I think the anchor for Dany is the mic stand but another factor is stage size (passing space). They seem to cross over more at the Teatro and Pepsi Center shows than they do at smaller venues.
What's really amazing is that yeah they have been doing it for 10 years but 7 of those years they were children.
BINGO!

Sutton Hoooooool!
Rock On! 🔥⚡🤘
Loves me some Holy Wars!
@@ThePentagenarian Amen brother thanks again always enjoy your reactions. 🤘
Excellent my friend... excellent!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks for the update. Glad you had a fun time.
I Know ,, You felt those Drums,,,, "exit = Epic" !!!!!.......
They wil be back next year, they have rescheuled the Atlanta concert for Sppt 27 2025. and I assume the Nashville concert that was posponed will be very close to that.
Looks like an awesome night. Can't wait for my first show. My first two attempts were denied. Oh well. Third time's the charm, right?
Absolutely!
Great review and analysis of the Warning concert 👍👍
You were to my right. I was 3rd row center. I agree with you on that it would be nice to see the sisters to switch sides. I was very impressed on the quality of their sound. It looked like Ale had a soar back, her movements were a little different. She also didn't take a bow. You know that you're doing well when the crowd is singing every song. The one thing that I wonder about is, they 4 albums and only play a little over and hour.
I came over from Windsor to see an outstanding show. They delivered.
From what I understand that was part of the deal they made with Lava records. Push the new album.
Great review , thanks for sharing your experience. 🤟
They aren't doing any southern dates this year. Atlanta was the most southern and it was canceled along with Nashville
LOL
The bass level of The Warning dwarfed LOVEBITES!
You will be waiting for a while.
🤘🏻🤘🏻
I'm sorry, but I'm jealous a little bit. Hoping for Dallas. (And Tuesday, I became a septuagenarian)
I may have mentioned it, but someone was told they're going to be doing a second leg of a more southern nature.
@@ThePentagenarian Yes, I heard. That's why I said hoping for Dallas. I'm just south of Ft Worth
I’m hoping Houston and San Antonio get in the mix.
⚡️⚡️🤘🏼⚡️⚡️
Think there is a cell phone vid where Dany had to talk to kill time whilst they fixed it
😍
They sold out 2 shows in Mexico for next year of 9000 and 11k seats!
If Dany and Ale switch sides...Ale's back would hurt bending down to Dany's mic
⚠️❣️⚡️❤️🔥
🤘
Glad you had a good time in Detroit. Plus I'm also glad you saw *The Well Oiled Rock Band called The Warning.*
From their absolute first video of Dany, Pau & Ale playing as a rock band doing a Kiss cover song of an 1973 *Argent* single called *"God Gave Rock & Roll To You"* at their school Christmas Festival (2012).

To small stages where things go wrong. They had their share of failures. It's what you do when it happens that counts..

The Warning in 2024 is a professional band. A well Oiled machine. Let Pau demonstrate how she turns off the click/backing track (watch her right foot).

Feel free to react to all videos. These ladies will only get better.
Taylor Swift will be begging to support them 🤣🤣.
I'm just hoping they come to Australia 🇦🇺 🙏.
I agree with you, you have to be patient, it's a band still in formation... just remember that they started playing in front of family and friends, I think it was less than 100 people... then in forums like:
Dakota Bar
Agua Fría Bar
(maybe 100 o 150 seats)
Lunario, Mexico City (500 seats)
Teatro Metropolitan, Mexico City (3,000 seats)
Pepsi Center, Mexico City (8,000 seats)
Auditorio Nacional, Mexico City, coming soon February 2025 (10,000 seats)
Greetings brother from Mexico 🤘😎🤘
Thank you for stopping by and leaving a comment. It's always good to hear someone refer to the Paul Dianno days! One of my favorite Maiden songs has always been "Remember Tomorrow" .
@@ThePentagenarian Remember Tomorrow, great song!!!... First song I heard from Maiden was Transylvania, and it's my favorite🤘😎🤘
LOL
Ok, but did you like it? It wasn’t very clear.
I’m kidding of course. Good that you finally got to experience it. First time I ever saw them was in Mexico City when they opened for Foo Fighters, and literally the reason I went to that concert. I can’t wait to see them in LA next month. Great review as always. Cheers!
LOL
Thank you!
My new goal is to see them in Mexico!
Do you have This in live complete
I do not. I chose to just record the opening and closing songs and just enjoy everything in between. 😁
Dio is still the top for me. Then The Warning and I've seen a buttload of shows including Metallica 4 times and Springsteen 8 times
Industrial rock ?
Holy Wars? Absolutely. Talked to Matt and Kat about it. Such great and humble people!
