Honestly, I’ve watched you for years and I think the way you go about social media is super admirable - especially as a mother. The way you’ve gone about letting us in to see a glimpse of your day to day life is SO far from exploitation of your child.
I think it’s so valid to feel the way that you do on this topic - but you know your child and family the best and I think you should continue to create the content that YOU want. Aww Skye is about 8 months older than my baby girl and your channel definitely helped me with being a first time mom while still trying to have an identity outside of motherhood as well. Do what is best for you and your family but I’ve always appreciated your little sprinkles of the family

at the end of the day, it’s nobody’s business but your own when it comes to posting your child. However, there are some TH-cam family channels that are famous for literally exploiting their young kids, so that’s probably where some of the conversations can arise. But your channel is nothing like that. You’re an amazing mumma!
You never tell a mom how to raise her child. I had a person make a really rude comment about my parenting last week and that ruined my whole day. You think about it. I don’t show my baby, but I would neverrrrrrr say to you what ur doing is wrong ??!!nor have I ever thought that. I love that you show her. Like you said everything we do as a parent is a option. Because we are all different . No one is wrong or right in parenting .

I was freshly a month postpartum lying in bed with my cluster feeding breast fed baby boy when I discovered your channel, and you showing your real life and your baby honestly made me feel so much less alone, and that anything is possible as a mom. There’s no shame in sharing your experience with motherhood and bits and pieces of your daughter skye. You’re an inspiration to many mothers out there in my opinion that you can turn your life around postpartum you can really get back into feeling like yourself when your whole world changes after having a baby. In regards to showing or not showing children on socials, at the end of they day it is the parent’s choice on what they want or don’t want to share…people can make helpful suggestions but no one can tell parents what to do unless they are truly doing something that is detrimental to the health and safety of the child. This world is full of creeps and I feel that as long as the parents are making decisions that they feel are what’s best for their family, then they have every right to make that choice. You’ve done a wonderful job at keeping a balance of how much you show Skye! Keep up the amazing work and keep being an amazing momma to Skye! ❤

Jessica, I am 21 years old and lost both my parents 4 years ago now. I have absolutely no photo albums, videos, or anything from my child hood of my self, little sister, or my mother and father. I am saying this due to if Skye were to lose you or Brent as I suddenly lost my parents due to life is unknown, Skye will have these videos to back and look at of you (her mom) Brent (her dad) and herself - your family. I wish that I was able to do as such because my mother and father were my absolute everything in my life. I watch you because not having my mother here with me anymore I don’t have a motherly figure to teach me, show me, etc about not only being a women but let alone a mother when the time comes that I bring my blessing/blessings into this world. So please don’t stop clogging your family.

I would have loved if my Mom was a influencer and have all the memories. In fact I regret not being a influencer cause my two daughter always say they wish they had more videos which I do too. Jess do what you feel is good for your family and don’t give the those negative people the satisfaction of even considering. Skye is a beautiful baby and when you do share her it’s always a joy. And she will love all those videos when she is older.

I have mom guilt 24/7 as I think we all do. It’s the hardest part of being a mom in my opinion. But one thing I admire so much about you and something because of you that I try to do is make time for me. Because yes I am a mom but I’m still a person and I do believe if we aren’t our best selves then we can’t be our best version of a parent. I know a lot of people who sacrifice themselves for their kids and that’s what their kids see. Not someone happy healthy and thriving it’s usually someone who is burnt out and overwhelmed. It is so important when you become a mom not to lose your individuality! BUT I think with your job, it's important to have a healthy mix. Your hands.... raw aloe vera plant.. about 3 coats, needs to completely dry before reapplication and it's needed on for 24hrs to see and feel a difference... when you wash off dry itll feel like jelly slime.
