- This video and photographs were taken at the Wedgwood National Pram Collectors Weekend - Saturday 11th May 2013. It was a public event and people travelled from all over the UK to show and admire prams from all eras, and on this occasion - in all weathers :o)
I never get tired of watching this video, what a joy to see all those beautiful prams and you look fab Jalna. x
Thank you - how kind of you to say so. I think my happiness is 'shining through'. It was wonderful to see so many lovely prams - I'm learning about them little by little - and loving them lots :o) Bet you would love the Pramtasia event being held in London Docklands this July xx
spires'n' squires Oh my word, that sounds amazing. xx
I LOVE seeing all the different prams!! They are all so gorgeous!! Thank you for sharing!!! :-)
I love these vintage prams.
Those reborn baby dolls are all so beautiful 😍😍
+Millie's Newborn Nursery Thank you. It's all part of the fun - dressing the 'baby' and dressing the pram :-)
It’s so very cute I love baby vintage items.
Wow I enjoyed seeing all the prams, gorgeous.
yes i keep coming back to this video over and over again too, your gorgeous mummy.
much love xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
KarronAngel Sorry Karron, I have only just seen your comment - oops **blushes** Thank you, certainly a happy one :-* Angel by name and angel by nature :-D You will have to visit and have a push of a pram or two :o) xxxxx
spires'n' squires now you know i will asap xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
That was so awesome! Thankyou for sharing your parade with us!
It was a fab day, and we certainly didn't let the weather dampen things. It was dry for the Pram Parade, which was only a few circuits around the courtyard, but probably felt much longer for those of you watching the video - lol ;-) x
Hello Anita. Gorgeous prams indeed, it was lovely - as were the occupants. Baby dolls and dolly babies - in equal measure and all equally admired :o)
Glad you liked it. The link is with Wedgwood Potteries, who a long time ago, made the cameo badges that went on the side of the pram body for decoration. It is a lovely excuse for ladies (and gents) who love prams to get together :o) xx
Thank you :-) Great fun to push and dress these prams. Lots of families still use these prams, and a great many ladies and gents restore them, so that they are 'baby' ready. I understand though, that you shouldn't be in a hurry to go anywhere - admiring glances turn into chats and reminisces ;-)
What a nice privilage to see the pram parade.. We dont have them in Turkey so i envy you!;))
Prammie heaven!! How many prams were there?
great video should still use them prams today
My pleasure - glad you enjoyed it :o)
You are most welcome Kellie :o) I really enjoyed the variety of styles and how they were all 'decked out'. xx
Thank you Helen - you would have had a ball - lots of frills, lace and...pink!! xx
A lovely day out
I think that this was only the second one, although there are posts on the Wedgwood site about next years event...I do hope so. :o)
WHAT HAPPINESS !!!!
Thank you - you are such a sweetie :o) You and I are going to have to meet up one day and have a 'play' ! I'm the one with the 'Cheshire Cat' happy face !! xxx
Wow - thank you for the lovely compliment.*** blushes *** Finch wouldn't dare not behave - there were warnings that Aunt Lydia had told him to be a good boy or else ;-) tee hee xx
Wow what gorgeous prams :-) Were the are reborns/silicones/dolls in them or were there real babies too?
The Princess Twin here, does not have the large wheels that my own little Prince Landau had. My own mother, must of thought that I could be Special I suppose. It is a shame that she is no longer around, to see how Special I am now.
darling, this was lovely, its my dream to get one of those carriages, was that you, talking to the camera man?? xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
