You have measured Jesus with strong measures and took Him out of the equation and considered shem lightly and pulled him in... Jesus was there in the beginning of the world itself... I'm sorry brother.. according to the word, shem is definitely having a genealogy.. that itself rules him out of the equation of who might have appeared as melchizedak... You have measured Jesus with strong measures and took Him out of the equation and considered shem lightly and pulled him in... Jesus was there in the beginning of the world itself... That is what bible tells us... The word was with God and through the word, the world was created... Bible itself is a definite record.. no need to search outside to prove our point... God can send jesus also to establish a covenant... It doesn't mean its a double act instead He considers this as an important covenant-making.. thats why chances are there to send manifestation of the son to meet Abraham... I'm not telling it has to be Jesus definitely here... But I can vouch that it's not shem for sure as he's getting ruled off due to genealogy...

Subsequently, it was only at a later point that Moses recorded Shem's genealogy in the Bible, yet Paul referred to him as an individual without an ancestral lineage. This reference was directed toward the Hebrews, who were well aware that Shem's genealogical information was exclusively present in the Torah. Paul drew attention to this fact that Shem’s genealogy was not present elsewhere and compares the same to Christ as the Genealogy of Christ (i.e - Christ being the Son of God) is not present elsewhere except the bible.
Interestingly, even preceding Shem was Adam, who assumed the roles of both Priest and King in the garden of Eden (this information is expounded upon in the discourse titled "Royal Priest of Eden"). It's worth noting that Adam also lacked a human genealogy and fulfilled the positions of priest and king. Also Christ came as a High Priest under Melchizedek's order only at his baptism, hence he couldn't have already pre-existed as Melchizedek. Hence a person has to have already existed during AB' period and the only qualified person was Shem. Please let us know if there was anyone else from the lineage of Adam who could have been a priest and ruler during AB's time period.

Likewise this can also be pre-planned priesthood.. Melzhisedez is as Like as son of God. Not son of God. Christ has come to this world in the ORDER of Melzhisedek. There fore Melzhisedek is in the GOD'S family. He is not Father , not Son of God. Therefore it is gracious Revelation that Melzhisedek is HOly Sprit Himself.
