Here's what I'd like to see you do in 2024. I'd like to see less series running at the same time. You've said many times that you forget what you were doing last because you have too much going on between them all. It can be hard as a viewer to watch you forget important things or make poor decisions etc. Stick with maybe 2 series during the week, and survival roleplay on Saturday. And take Sundays off!!! Nothing pre recorded, nothing in the queue, just take some time for yourself and mental health. And when survival roleplay finishes I'd even recommend taking the whole weekend off. Personal time is very important, that way you can focus more on a couple of well thought out series during the week 👍
adding onto that, i guess survival roleplay takes much more time than the others, so as log as you take it easy and keep it reasonable, no one will complain.
This! Personally I can only watch so much FS anyways so I tend to focus on finishing one series before starting the next anyway. The really basic mistakes are a lot more jarring that way because, to the viewer, we have just seen Dagger do something only to promptly forget about it. As others have said, the series felt rushed, directionless, and generally more lackadaisical than earlier FS22 playthroughs or even some of the "original" FS19 playthroughs that I remember. And on a complete other note, no days off for nearly nine years? The above talks about how that shows in the work, but nobody wants to see you burnt out, Dagger. Take time off. We can take a day or two of the week without a video, and it's healthier for you to do so.
I mean, you forgetting to sell the soybeans sums this series up quite well. The chickens haven’t been cared for, everything feels stressed. Not taking the time to work out a plan to expand, just trying to do it as fast as possible with loans, renting big equipment early. On HB you had a thought, cared for the animals, not trying to expand big from the beginning. You took the time that was needed to expand in the right speed. I do quite like this map, because the land I cheap so it’s not hard to grow organically, it’s not as good as other maps, but I feel that you didn’t give it a chance really. Anyway looking forward to the next series.
Sad to see this series end, but after seeing your truck get flung from the train and you rushing around crashing all the time, I think it's for the best. The way you've been playing recently sort of ruins our immersion.
Would be interesting to see a realistic gameplay series from him. SR is realistic but it’s got storyline and this and that.. but like an FS15/17 realistic series feeling. Those were fun to watch

This series didn't have a goal, such as building the largest vegetable empire. After Daggerwin experienced the new crops and productions in the first few episodes, it started to become a headless chicken
3-year cycle for a new game is fine for me, as there is so much (modder) content. It gives them more time to make great stuff. I would say this means Giants should also make a serious step up when they come with the next game.
Admittedly I voted for this to end on this episode however I actually didnt realise what episode we were at. I think it would be good to keep it going a little longer and use the productions i.e. piano and potato processing. I love all your content too!

I just finished Zielonka last night, 209 hours :D 450 pigs and 30 beef cows, harvesting Barley, Canola, Sorghum, Potatoes, Carrots, Parsnips, Red beet and some grapes at the end aswell. I used the soup factory, preserved foods and potato processing. Also made few pianos from the wood i got from expanding the south farm. Paid the 850k loan off and still had 500k :)
Im not saying in a bad way, however, you did happen to forget the soy in the bin at the farm. It was a good Series non the less. It's definitely sad to see go, Definitely looking forward to seeing what new comes.
Personally, I'd like to see you do a vintage survival series on an American map of your choosing with all American versions of equipment. I've seen mods for Minneapolis-Moline tractors and I think that would be really neat to see. :) Obviously "realistic" is limited to a few things but mostly starting out completely fresh with no land or equipment.

Yep, this just wasn't a very imersive or inspiring map. Nevertheless, Daggerwin, you gave a good shot and it was fun. Have you looked at Glenleatham? Loved Haut Beyleron too, I still have a game play going.
I've seen some TH-camrs do a video about what they'd like to be in fs25 and also what they think will be in it, I'd love to see you do a video like that i think you did it for fs19
Just wondering if someone knows for sure. If you get this expansion with the new crops but want to play on another map, are these new crops now playable on those maps. Maybe not so much on the modded maps but at least on the official maps from Giants?
I'm kind of glad that you are moving on from this map. I've been playing it on my own as well as watching your videos. I just don't think it is a particularly interesting or well built map that Giants has created for this expansion.
Just a bit of positive criticism here: I felt that the tasks on this particular map, were quite repetitive in the end. Maybe the cows arrived quite late, and the fact that the new crops are so tedious to harvest, makes it quite difficult. There's not much to do about it, I'd probably do what you do, planting and harvesting other crops to earn money and have animals... But it was not very enjoyable to watch. I enjoyed the new crops and machinery, along with the production, but, again, aren't very friendly to the audience. If I was playing it, I'd enjoy it more I guess... There are some other maps, that happens exactly the opposite. Doesn't mind if you do the same thing over and over, but because the map is so interesting, like the previous one, it's more enjoyable. Also the need to bale and prepare silage for the animals, maybe helps. Anyway I love your content, both in here and in Machinery Restorer. Keep it up Daggerwin!!
Never really cared for this map.... I will say, you do seem refreshed after the holiday break. Obviously you busted your ass piling up videos for it but you do seem refreshed. Can't wait to see what's to come to take the place of this series

sell 4 types... Soybeans in storage, but I guess you forgot about those after mentioning them earlier in the ep. Should have put the soybeans in the 3-in-1 trailer and strapped it to the back of the train and sold all 4 types. Would have made an extra at least 50-70k.

I honestly think you should do something you think is fun, not something you think the viewers will think are fun. To be honest, it is your commentary that brings me to your videos, not the game play. There are other TH-camrs I watch who play in a style I enjoy more, but you are by far the most engaging and amusing. I know it is a little late, and this feedback will likely get lost, but I will post it anyway. - You really did not seem into it, and it feels like you are just going through the motions. Personally I do not mind things progressing a little slowly as long as they are progressing with purpose. That is what made Haut Bayleron good. Progress was never super fast, but you always had a plant to work towards. This goes back to doing a series you enjoy yourself, or a map you love. - If you worry about variation, try more mods. There are so many out there you have never really touched. The most obvious one being enhanced animals. Brings a whole new depth to having animals. But also different mods can add something different. We all know FS22 gameplay will be repetitive, but the same crops with the same equipment every time definitely is. - Super strength. All the time. For all loading. I know loading is boring, but still. I use it too, in moderation when, usually when the game does something stupid when loading. But you use it all the time, for loading, moving equipment, etc. It is entirely immersion breaking. - You make the game super easy for yourself. No crop destruction, easy economy, etc. I think you can turn on more of the things, to make the gameplay more varied. And you never use seasons. I get it can make it harder to do things, but you can always just jump cut winter if there is nothing happening. We all know why that is sensible. The issue is you default to the 3 fast growing crop varieties and almost exclusively do Sorghum and Soybeans these days. This is definitely not good for viewers. Pairing seasons with the crop rotation mod would make you plan your crops more and give more variety I think. - Maybe look for a map with more crops added? There are a couple out there which are nice, although you may have to leave modhub. I had a lovely time on the multifruit version of UMRV. Long ass post, but I hope it is well received.
Your play style doesn't lend well to a plain play through. Your challenge series are much better and fit the way you play. Keep up the good work. Really enjoy your videos.
I am on Zielonka myself trying to decide if its time to go... I have acquired 3.5 million, I have 300 sheep and 12 fields. I don't think at this point I have to worry about not succeeding. lol
One thing I’ve always thought from watching your series just come to a dead end and selling everything off, is why not make it more immersive and find another map to play and include all the money from the sale of everything and start with no property or machinery and just buy your way in to another farm
The episode would be hours long if time lapses were used. If it was all showed on real time I would be very bored. Each to their own I suppose. Happy New Year.
@@eyesofvenus mate I have to agree, giants really messed up with the root crop harvester, as people who don't have something like follow me, the player is almost forced into the tractor with a trailer, which is a shame, I think they could have made it so much more fun. Shame really

I’ve watched your content for a couple years now, your no man’s land survival was the first series I watched n I was hooked. Your content used to be my by guide on how to play but recently it seems like you’re rushing to get through the episodes and it doesn’t feel the same. It feels a little sloppy. I still watch because you’re funny and they’re a good laugh. But it just feels different n less engaging. I never like leaving negative comments because I think you should do what makes you happy with your content but you seem confused about why people are engaging less so I thought I’d leave my opinion, sorry if it’s not something you wanted to hear. i feel daggerwins channel is lacking a good multyplayer series like the good old days, daggerwin is in a rut with the same old same old with every series. i cant see how giants can improve from fs22, fs22 is great. i agree that zielonka is boring ,silverrun forest was miles better.
I said it over a month ago, this was never going to get to 50 episodes and it was not even close. For some reason he lacked any kind of passion for this even though it is a great map. I have over 200 hours on it already.
You used to be more organised. These days, it feels like you do not know what you are going to do. Maybe make a list to keep things organised and interesting for the viewers (?)

You can use the piano on other maps. It is pretty lackluster though...
