I am absolutely in awe of Sister Dew's message and her delivery. The message of encouragement and empowerment is more deeply moving that I can say. Her delivery is like a water-cooled machine gun that runs and runs and never stops delivering the same, measured, cadenced fire. Her phrasing and timing are truly a clinic, not just in public speaking, but in leadership. This is the most powerful half-hour talk I have ever heard, and I've heard a mess o' talkin'!
I have discovered that part of the way we get recommended is how well we take care of ourselves. That counts a ton towards the oil in our lamps. Our first individual priority is our physical and spiritual self. Elder Holland lists in order what our priorities are. We don’t have to serve everyone and every cause the moment we get up....although our phones may make us think so. NOT TRUE. There are others awake now and helping. We are not all asleep at once, nor do we all get ready for the day at once.
I was just called as sunday school president and i have been seeking for as much wisdom and guidance for this time in my life. Im a bit nervous and very excited. Most of all i want to help as much as i can and THIS talk is just great. I feel like the Lord always sends great talks my way when i need them most (:

We are not truly powerful on our own. We are powerful through our savior. Ask for power in faith and you will find it. You are loved perfectly, and the fact that you are on this earth today testifies that you are elect and chosen for this day. Rely on the lord and you will find the strength you require
