The Netherlands Marine Corps Bands are good but nothing compares to the Band of HM Royal Marines ……. this is the benchmark for all Military Bands to aspire to ……. quite simply THEY ARE THE BEST ….. and this RM Drum Major is outstanding, with his personal drill and discipline exceptional ……. SuperNutkin
@@SGCRPG Yes, exactly ….. Drum Major Chris Mace ….. he's got to be the smartest Drum Major the Royal Marines have had for many years. The guy is absolutely immaculate, both in personal drills and smartness. Lets hope he becomes Corps Drum Major very soon and perhaps then he can demand the other Drum Majors follow his lead in personal drills, especially in not having a "bent arm" when marching in front of the band (one of my personal pet hates) as most of the others have ?
Yes our bands are very good and we are proud of them, but its not nice to be negative about their country's band when you are in that place! Just saying. I'm sure the Dutch Band is just as professional and well disciplined.

I like how the band is always balanced. You can hear each section/instrument.
Doesn’t matter the size of the band they always have a perfect sound.
The clarinets are often too quiet in my opinion.
These guys are head and shoulders above all other military bands.
