It's so nice to see a competition piece that isnt purely tricks and turns. This was real dancing and it's really refreshing. The choreography is amazing and these girls have phenomenal technique
Turning requires technique and is still really dancing and so are tricks, you can congratulate and bring notoriety to one thing without being an ass about another, with that being said it there are many competition pieces that are not only tricks and turns but this is truly a beautiful dance and I am so happy for everyone of these dancers
I love how every one at some point in the dance has a chance to stand out and do the main part instead of just one ☝🏻 person doing it its shows a great scenes of teamwork congratulations
He I would watch the next step and they would be all doing a do and stuff and I thought that I could never be a good dance because I can’t do flips then piper came in who couldn’t and it made me feel so much better
Besides the coordination and the precision throughout the whole routine (which is pretty big since it was very diverse)to my eye the most remarkable thing was the confidence that led the whole team to be so convergent, truly amazing artists

I was trying to get some inspiration from this by muting the music and swapping the audio with "Everybody Wants to Rule the World" by Lorde. The big lift hit at the perfect moment. I like it. This was awesome.

this could definitely not be done by “just anyone” a dancers goal is to make their moves look effortless and easy but it requires a lot of work in the studio
Dance looks pretty easy but it requires a ton of technique, arm, leg, and core strength, + flexibility in both back, shoulders, hips, and hamstrings. Even walking in dance can be very technical, and you truly cannot realize how hard dance is unless you try it, coming from me myself a dancer. Especially for modern contemporary, it has very specific energy for each move, and with strong choreographies like this, a minute of dancing can be very exhausting. There are lots of turns, rolls, and floor choreography in this piece which makes it even harder, as all of them require an immense amount of energy and technique that not everyone can make look good. You have to know specifically when to point or flex your foot, find your breath within the song to make it look for effortless, have straight posture, and find the amount of energy you need for each move which is a lot harder than it seems. I also want to add that you have to keep track of all the technique and moves while counting to stay in sync. Dancing is not just random moves, especially in a group, and even more especially in this choreography :)

I like that everybody is doing different things and have chance to people look at them, and I also loved the story behind the music. Wonderful.
