- In this video, we will tell our viewers about the eating food options in Rameshwaram, especially those restaurants that are neat and clean with rates.
First of all, we visited
1. Ganesh Mess (Famous for South indian Meals)
Price: Rs 100/ thali on banana leaf (unlimited)
Please note: In South India, Breakfast is called TIFFIN while lunch and dinner are called MEALS. In meals, 10 items are offered on a plate. 3 vegetables, sambhar, pepper rasam, curd, chaas, papadam, chapatti, one sweet
location : 100 meter from west gate of temple
2. After that we explored various varieties of bananas in rameshwaram streets, ranging from thumb-sized banana to red bananas.
3. Then we tasted jigarthanda, the famous tamil nadu traditional drink. Price= Rs. 50/-glass made up of condensed milk, gum, sugar, ice-cream and rose syrup. It is must try to beat the heat in rameshwaram
location : next to ganesh mess ( near west gate of temple )
4. Next destination was Guru Lodge opposite to South gate of Main rameshwaram jyotirlinga temple. We visited to taste Tamil Nadu festive dish made of rice called as Pongal, which helps in digestion. It is both available in sweet and salt forms. Rate: Rs. 60/-
5. Next day we headed at another hygenic place of rameshwaram for hotel Aryaas to eat breakfast called as Tiffin. We tried Poori Bhaji with Price: Rs 60/-and Idli sambhal plus wada= Rs 30/-.

6. Tea time snacks Near apj abdul kalam memorial where we tried delicious milk coconut biscuit with haldi mil and onion ponda
