I mean, for Ganyu especially, this weapon its actually quite amazing not only for melt Ganyu, but especially for Freeze teams it's actually Quite Solid, Getting the Crit Dmg and also 36% of atk% (i say the second stat because its more likely to have to Cryo units in a freeze team) its very impressive, and some freeze team could actually appreciate 1 or 2 charge shots in the rotation and its pretty nice. Now, this weapon being with Aqua Simulacra makes this a pretty solid banner Overall. Obviously there's no necessary reason to go for those weapons since you can clear the game with 4* weapons, especially with refinements.
His point is the damage output is still similar so if youre an f2p, why trouble yourself to pull a weapon that changes your stat by a bit. His ganyu can clear the abyss every single time so why would he waste resources to something that does exactly the same

I think Sumeru was all about raising the damage floor so newer players could more easily reach harder content. I think Fontaine is all about raising the damage ceiling for veteran players. There are so many OP damage buffs coming from what I’ve seen.
Sumeru introduced the strength of elemental reactions to attack-obsessed players. With artefacts that boost skills instead of bursts, there might be a switch from burst teams to skill teams.
3:53 i disagree with a few things here about tighnari 1. He is not good in hyperbloom, his dendro app is too fast and not consistant enough for it 2. Amos bow is not that good on him, he doesn't benefit that much from attack and would rather have a bow that gives EM or crit.
As a new player getting full EM is not that easy but I imagine once you have it you have it and don't really need to worry about it ever again at least for characters/comps that don't worry about set bonuses.
To MTash, I hear what you have to say about hyperbloom, but that's only 1 abyss team. Go see the past 2 abyss cycles you missed, they were brutal for many and only 1 hyperbloom team wouldn't cut it
I think as well Amos being base game is a huge reason to just give the bow a miss, better to go for a weapon that fills a gap outside of basegame if you are gonna roll weapon banner imo
Yes and No Yes, its not worth pulling for a 5star bow if you already have one to use No, its the staff of homa for bows. It has the same base attack and crit damage values plus its passive is a universal buff, but not everyone can utilize it properly however there are three 5 star bow users that directly benefit from the passive while Homa its Zhongli(barely) and Hu Tao
Have you tried Baldur’s Gate 3? I wasn’t into turn based, but Honkai Star Rail opened my mind, and BG3 is actually blowing my mind. It’s so crazy the stuff you can do in the game.
I'm hoping the chararcters have powercreep. we've had underwhelming new characters besides all of the new dendro ones for a while now. making fontaine characters mediocre would ruin the roundness of the character. they already look amazing aesthetically, why not give them what they deserve?

4.0 phase 1 weapon banner looks juicy as hell both are cd bows with great universal passive so if anyone of you are wondering should i pull or not i would absolutely say yes it's a win win either you get aqua simulacra or the magic bow
@@Sergmanny46 cd is not enough to reedem it 💀 bro we talking 88 cd for 40 to 50 loss in base atk it has around a 4 star base atk of 515 or i forgot exactly 510 plus that is not a big deal if you can manage atk % from artifacts ,if you're character is atk focused then around 2.1 or 2.2 k atk would be more than enough and if you got the atk san and some little atk % you can get 2.2 k easily my ayato has a 4 star weapon with 545 base atk and he has around 2.1 k base atk with 72/204 ratio so it's not that hard to get that atk and also note this my goblet is so bad it has 15 %def with 12 cd lol can you imagine how much def i have on him 1023 def with that stat so it's not hard to get that ratio even for f2p like me
Why would you farm and hyperinvest on a team where there is anothet team that can deal similar amount of damage without much investment? Because you need atleast 2 teams to clear thr entire game. One team may require you lesser investments but still you will have to go through hyper level investments in to the 2nd team anyways. So you have no other choice. And also why introduce a team like hyperbloom? Because there needs to be a balance between f2p low investment/lazy/casual players and the hardcore meta hyperinvestment loving players
its not about how much damage you can do, it's about how much damage your favorite characters can do. If you only play a character for meta, you'll always be disappointed. I play mono geo, and obviously geo isn't the best element in the game, but I play it because I love geo characters. when everything in the game can be cleared by any character, I think it's important to just play who you like, rather than what's "meta"

She deals around 5% in mono cryo teams and 6 to 8% in melt for Ganyu, it´s better than Amos but not that much higher, if you pull it´s better use it on another char that doesn´t have a good bow.
That weapon is so pretty, I wanted to get The First Great Magic even though I'm not pulling for Lyney or Yelan... I probably will end up saving for Hydro Archon anyway though
If we’re talking about R1 to R1 then Amos does more than Lyney’s signature bow. Because 16% charged atk and the longer the arrows remains in flight, before it hit’s the target that’s 40% dmg right there but Lyney’s bow will shine in certain comps tho but both are still good bows.

Tbh at some point in the game you don't need to pull anymore like when you can easily brute force through spiral abyss. At that point the only reason why you would be pulling characters and weapons would be just for the fun of it. So i really think it's pointless to worry about getting power creep or anything. Honestly just play the game however you want pull whoever you wanna pull. I personally stopped worrying about primogems and 50 cv artifacts after I could easily beat the abyss

The bow is neash, probably not needed. But if there is Tighnari new user, who doesn't have Stringless, Eledgy or even Harp would proven to be useful. I know the atk is not as useful as elemental mastery on him, but is good stat stick replacement since we probably not get his signiture in standard banner anyway.

Mtashed is back and his looking good. I agree hyperbloom and nilou bloom team makes the game so easy. It will never be the same again. Now i make 2 hyperbloom team and it can clear the abyss except if they keep putting dendro resistance enemies more on the abyss it can clear but slower.
You play Ayato over hypderbloom for fun that is the answer. I guess they could release bosses that are immune to hyperbloom then we need to use our Hydro & Pyro units to clear some content. Shatter is a thing with the new character... Who knows what style of play is doable at 5.0. But yah.. the game is easy overall, this is the trajectory that Hoyovers is heading toward. Any team you build properly should clear everything pretty easily. However, there are great percentage of players that are not sweaty and can't clear regular content at AR 50+ and they don't even have proper builds, and guess what, they are more than us.. (:
imo its not worth pulling any 5 star weaps with what dendro provides. Dendro broke the game lol. Just imagine being able to do almost similar clear times with c2 hyper raiden against a well invested hyperbloom comp. That pretty much says it all.
I don’t understand why hoyo added movement speed bonus to The First Great Magic. No character currently really benefits from that, right? So it’s really just meant to encourage a mono play style?

Not to mention her A4 passive which is where most of her dmg comes from can't be activated if your other team members didn't do an electro related reaction , which is why she's pretty average in hyperbloom .
I love how this meta slave is obsessed with crit dmg/crit rate, as if that is the be-all-end-all stat. It's really not. Ganyu loses a ton of atk if you use Lyney's weapon on her, and aqua simulacra makes it even worse with such low base attack. Amos Bow is Ganyu's BiS, period. Attack boost and the arrow actually does more damage the further away you are from your enemy. Even hunter's path (tighnari's bow) that was supposedly better for melt ganyu is still worse than Amos Bow, by a whole lot. Basic math says: If your base stats are trash, they will multiply trash as well. 300% of 10 is 30. So if you have too low attack, you will hit for wet noodles. This is why no other bow surpasses Amos, because it gives Ganyu so much attack and the passive synergizes too well with her, that no "juicy" 66 or 88 crit dmg bow is gonna be to the task. TL;DR Amos Bow is still Ganyu's BiS, even on melt teams. The other two weapons that get close (and only because they have crit rate) are Hunter Path and Polar Star.
This is a major problem Hoyoverse is overlooking. If the game becomes too easy then there's less reason to whale Sure, some will no matter what, but chipping away at that small percentage of players is not a good idea long term
Oh please, the game was never hard and players keep whaling like there no tomorrow. But in 3.7, where we got the harder challenge this game ever face, sales were down, even with alhaitham and kazuha. I love harder challenges, but they don't make any change into sales. New and interesting characters do. And they will keep doing that, no matter the difficulty.
Losing chipping away small percent of players in the long term is better than losing a lot of players in a short amount of time because abyss is to hard to complete for f2ps to get their reward .

I had 20 wishes yesterday and something amazing happened, i did a 10 pull on Wanderer and got a double... C1... i went to the weapon banner and got his weapon as well, crazy thing is i took stardust and converted into another 5 wishes and got his weapon twice in that 5 pull... C1 Wanderer and R3 weapon in 25 wishes... this luck only comes once a lifetime.. i was dead shocked for 2 hours straight.. i even went offline immediately and login again to see if its real and not a mistake... it was real... im still shocked
this and the artifacts are great! at this point im not against on people spending.. they keep the game alive :D but for me personally I will experiment and try other comps and characters if my resources allow me to because I know when things get serious my raiden national and bloom teams are ready to clear hard floors in abyss

Ganyu with the Lyney bow + Shenhe Kazuha and Diona/Layla would be cracked IMO
She deals around 5% in mono cryo teams and 6 to 8% in melt for Ganyu, it´s better than Amos but not that much higher, if you pull it´s better use it on another char that doesn´t have a good bow.

I already saved up 100 wishes and am absolutely wishing on this weapon banner. I will be happy with either of these Crit Damage bows.
If we’re talking about R1 to R1 then Amos does more than Lyney’s signature bow. Because 16% charged atk and the longer the arrows remains in flight, before it hit’s the target that’s 40% dmg right there but Lyney’s bow will shine in certain comps tho but both are still good bows.
This bow's gonna be fine for my Ganyuu.

Tbh at some point in the game you don't need to pull anymore like when you can easily brute force through spiral abyss. At that point the only reason why you would be pulling characters and weapons would be just for the fun of it. So i really think it's pointless to worry about getting power creep or anything. Honestly just play the game however you want pull whoever you wanna pull. I personally stopped worrying about primogems and 50 cv artifacts after I could easily beat the abyss
pneuma/ousia mechanic will have something to say about that..

@@101suvramaji4 i have the same mentality as you do too and my teams are all set so pulling the characters i like is what i'm doing too right now.. i'm just not sure about "easily brute force" through the spiral abyss this time around because the new mechanic is a little complicated.. based on leaks, there are enemies what will not get stunned/break shield unless you use pneuma/ousia and some will only receive physical damage for a period of time..

The bow is neash, probably not needed.
But if there is Tighnari new user, who doesn't have Stringless, Eledgy or even Harp would proven to be useful. I know the atk is not as useful as elemental mastery on him, but is good stat stick replacement since we probably not get his signiture in standard banner anyway.

Honestly its just not Aqua Simulacra the real power creep bow, which is almost as good even on Lyney. But since they are both going to be on the same banner, i guess its a win/win for Lyney wanters.
And with C2 Nahida, Kuki can do 40K/hit hyperbloom. It's insane...

Mtashed is back and his looking good. I agree hyperbloom and nilou bloom team makes the game so easy. It will never be the same again. Now i make 2 hyperbloom team and it can clear the abyss except if they keep putting dendro resistance enemies more on the abyss it can clear but slower.
If it wasn't for my desire to get the archon's weapon to go with her. I would wish on this weapon banner. 2 cracked bows that even if I miss I win.
You play Ayato over hypderbloom for fun that is the answer. I guess they could release bosses that are immune to hyperbloom then we need to use our Hydro & Pyro units to clear some content. Shatter is a thing with the new character... Who knows what style of play is doable at 5.0.
But yah.. the game is easy overall, this is the trajectory that Hoyovers is heading toward. Any team you build properly should clear everything pretty easily. However, there are great percentage of players that are not sweaty and can't clear regular content at AR 50+ and they don't even have proper builds, and guess what, they are more than us.. (:

imo its not worth pulling any 5 star weaps with what dendro provides. Dendro broke the game lol. Just imagine being able to do almost similar clear times with c2 hyper raiden against a well invested hyperbloom comp. That pretty much says it all.

Oz hits enemies and not the cores so your hyperbloom consistency is hugely diminished . Not to mention her A4 passive which is where most of her dmg comes from can't be activated if your other team members didn't do an electro related reaction , which is why she's pretty average in hyperbloom .

I love how this meta slave is obsessed with crit dmg/crit rate, as if that is the be-all-end-all stat. It's really not. Ganyu loses a ton of atk if you use Lyney's weapon on her, and aqua simulacra makes it even worse with such low base attack. Amos Bow is Ganyu's BiS, period. Attack boost and the arrow actually does more damage the further away you are from your enemy. Even hunter's path (tighnari's bow) that was supposedly better for melt ganyu is still worse than Amos Bow, by a whole lot.
Basic math says: If your base stats are trash, they will multiply trash as well. 300% of 10 is 30. So if you have too low attack, you will hit for wet noodles. This is why no other bow surpasses Amos, because it gives Ganyu so much attack and the passive synergizes too well with her, that no "juicy" 66 or 88 crit dmg bow is gonna be to the task.
TL;DR Amos Bow is still Ganyu's BiS, even on melt teams. The other two weapons that get close (and only because they have crit rate) are Hunter Path and Polar Star.
Tighnari doesn't even need a 5 star weapon mine is equipped with r5 slingshot and he's hitting 35k per charge shot

I love harder challenges, but they don't make any change into sales.
New and interesting characters do. And they will keep doing that, no matter the difficulty.
Losing chipping away small percent of players in the long term is better than losing a lot of players in a short amount of time because abyss is to hard to complete for f2ps to get their reward .

I had 20 wishes yesterday and something amazing happened, i did a 10 pull on Wanderer and got a double... C1... i went to the weapon banner and got his weapon as well, crazy thing is i took stardust and converted into another 5 wishes and got his weapon twice in that 5 pull... C1 Wanderer and R3 weapon in 25 wishes... this luck only comes once a lifetime.. i was dead shocked for 2 hours straight.. i even went offline immediately and login again to see if its real and not a mistake... it was real... im still shocked

this and the artifacts are great! at this point im not against on people spending.. they keep the game alive :D but for me personally I will experiment and try other comps and characters if my resources allow me to because I know when things get serious my raiden national and bloom teams are ready to clear hard floors in abyss
Good thing I have my build Ayato now in my bloom Team. Only took 1 week to make the others work
