If I may offer a suggestion regarding editing: drop the Coming Up intros, just open straight with your logo then into each segment. Not sure what the analytics say about this, but personally I despise this trend I’m seeing more and more on TH-cam channels - I either skip through it or change the video almost instinctively at this point when any channel does it. Thanks for the interview Dalton. I really stopped my work just to watch the whole thing LOL. I've subscribed.
While the story is addictive in the interest of "justice", suspense and drama, I felt compelled to drop a note here (even though it may be obvious), that if we eventually want a world where we propagate kindness and love, we have to stop normalising killing, and stories about killing. Yes I understand that it may be killing someone who's killed countless others, and I'm referring to them too also, of course.
Thank you for bringing these stories to the forefront, these stories go a long way towards making us examine what we are doing to each other as humans, and also, allowing your guests to express themselves, which in my humble opinion, is divine work for sure.

I've met Jhon Kiriakou at the airport in Athens with his son and aproached him to thank him for the great job he is doing. What a great personality, we had a nice chat, there are no many people knows him in Greece and he was surprised that someone recognised him.

A very good friend of mine is from Pakistan. I spoke to him about UBL being found in his country and asked “do you think your government knew he was there?” He flat out said “of course they did, they were helping to hide him. The corruption there runs deep.” It was chilling to hear that. That a country who is supposed to help us is holding a carrot in front of our agents…

When President Clinton fired cruise missiles at Al Qieda targets in Pakistan, he called the Pakistani Government to inform them of the intrusion into their airspace (as they are obligated to do). The Pakistani Government called the terrorists and told them in advance.

Couple of camera tips, for the profile shot at 4:58, it’s okay to crop off the top of his head a bit. The eyes should be intersecting the top 1/3 of the frame. Having headroom is typically the way to go, but when you do a tight closeup like this, the face and eyes are the focus. On the wider shot, turn off auto focus so it doesn’t keep hunting for focus when his hand comes into frame. You can use auto focus on the initial setup of the shot, but then, turn it off. His face is the most important thing, especially in a sit-down interview. Auto focus is a great tool, but for sit-down interviews, it can be distracting.

Note: there have been multiple sources challenging Kiriakou's version of catching Abu Zubaydah. For one they (Grenier et others) claim he wasn't in Faisalabad when Zubaydah was captured. That's a pretty major point.
