Let's Go !!!!!!!!! And Welcome Drake Maye. And Now you get that Fixed. You can see this team roll again. But we have to wait and See.
As somebody familiar with his college game, there's so much to be excited about and some things that definitely need work. Drake has great touch on passes, overall solid pocket presence, has the ability to throw guys open, has a really good deep ball, and knows how to work the middle of the field, especially on the middle to deep routes. That's not something most guys at the college level are comfortable with. He does tend to get happy feet and foot work can be sloppy, but that's correctable. He needs to work on his short throws. Too often on quick slants, he would hit the guy in the shoulder or just behind him instead of leading him forward. His downfield accuracy is incredible, but the short throws need work and will be important for his development. Another thing he struggled with this year particularly was fade throws down the sideline. Far too often, the pass would trail too far out of bounds to give an open receiver a chance. Keep in mind the following too. Maye put up the numbers he did at UNC behind statistically one of the 15-20 worst offensive lines in the country in pass protection. He's used to getting sacked a lot with 37 sacks and 40 sacks in 2023 and 2022 respectively, so he is very tough. Last year, UNC also had the nation's 2nd leading rusher on the field, which took pressure off, but also dipped Maye's numbers. He's had the benefit of working with two different offensive coordinators already, which shows a good deal of versatility in my opinion. Furthermore, he's also had the privilege of working with Clyde Christensen, who has worked with Tom Brady and developed Payton Manning and Andrew Luck. Off the field, you are going to get a locker room leader from Day 1. A guy who is going to walk in, carry the weight of being "the QB" and do what it takes to win games. When I look at guys like Caleb Williams, I'm immediately turned off by his personality. It's a lot of me and I. Drake is as humble as it gets, comes from an incredible family, and has always had siblings to push him to become the best he can be. He's always going to be studying film, always going to be on the field finding ways to get better. I think Drake has a really high ceiling in the league and I think as good as he can become, people are going to be most impressed with his demeanor, attitude, and leadership. Hoping Drake makes a big splash in New England!

Let's Go. Now lets Get that O line Fixed and Give the Man the protection he needs to get that ball down field to Hit His Receivers and open up that line too get that Running Game Going Too. Let's Go !!!!!!!!! And Welcome Drake Maye. And Now you get that Fixed. You can see this team roll again. But we have to wait and See.
good in pocket but some throws questionable still excited to see what he brings to this franchise 💯lets go pats!
