All time signatures can be broke down into sets of 1s, 2s, 3s and 4s. 5/4? That's just 4 + 1. 7/4? That's just a 4 and then a 3. etc Counting to 4 is enough. Even if playing a tool song.

This song embodies the rage I felt as a child when it came to numbers. You could hand me a dictionary and I could read it to you front to back and tell you about what I read, but I always had such a difficult time comprehending math and numbers. Usually songs like this I’ll listen to once have a laugh and move on… but I have begun to un-ironically listen to this song on a daily basis. Which is surprising considering I discovered it a couple days ago. I’ve never heard a song that so quickly went from “eh, it’s kind of good, but it’s mostly annoying (I’m not found of repeated lyrics)” to “holy shit, I can’t stop listening.”
