We got a Caddy for $1000 believe it or not. Got it off a family friend. It's a diesel so I'm happy. I've got 18s from my old car that might fit. Gonna try it out today
@@FreeworldOL are you putting coilovers on then or just lowering Springs on it and reverse axle? 👍 can't wait to see the next video.yes it's coming along bro
When you change wheels do you need to get tracking re done ? Just Iv just got a VW caddy with 18in wheels on but can not open side down so getting smaller size
I am planning to put 18" oz on my caddy N wasn't thinking to have like 235 40 18r but after seeing your video I think that 235 would be too much, what about the comfort, speed does it affect the driving experience, cheers mate for sharing
Mino Dz hi, thanks yeah I noticed a big difference between the steels and the alloys. It’s noticeably a firmer ride but not uncomfortable but the handling is improved also. More responsive turn in and less soggy all round when cornering
@@FreeworldOL glad to hear that you noticed only pros, what about the torque any loose... Cause of the weight difference, waiting for the next video ❤️
@@FreeworldOLfor instance 300 nm of torque = power, if you loose torque you loose lib of speed when you accelerate, the weight difference between the wheels 18" in aluminum and the 15" steel could affect I think is it really noticeable, hope to hear from you.
I’m with you, nothing noticeable. Obviously this is a bum in seat opinion and nothing scientific. I’ve noticed I’ve started driving it a bit harder since I changed them as I have more confidence in the grip levels than previously
Hi mate nice to see a local lad on youtube, hoping to be getting a caddy in the new year.
Thanks buddy, nice to hear. Only thing I’d change is I’d probably not go as low as I did 👍

Very nice choice of wheel 👌👌
Thank you very much. Always get nervous trying to envision how it will look when things are done. These didn’t disappoint 👍
The wheels look good bro they look well with the van nice choice 👌 😎👍
Thanks man, think it should all come together when the van is lowered but makes a huge difference already. I chose them the week I chose the van 🙈 😂

Van looks smart mate, I would definitely recommend putting some copper slip on those wheel bolts though 👍🏻
Thanks buddy, I’ll get on it 👍
Nice wheels! Made me laugh with your one-liners, "I'm not god". Interested to see your next one when you get it lowered. Keep it going.
Dave Cobb thanks and thanks for that, I sometimes think my dryness is missed. Defo keeping it going. 👍
What width are wheels me are they 9 j
Great choice of wheels. Where in the north east are you based?
Cheers buddy, based in Newcastle
Olly I’m originally from Whitley Bay. Popping up next week. Will keep my eyes peeled for mean SWB caddy’s on black rims!
2dexandsumplastik sorry didn’t get notified of the reply. Hope u enjoyed your trip to Whitley

I only did mine when I had the van lowered and it changed the whole set up. Didn’t bother with the wheels as they were radius as the other ones
@@FreeworldOL ok thanks mate

Thanks 👍
Make sure they're load rated wheels and tyres bud, otherwise your insurance is null and void. Nice choice of wheel 👍
Thank you, yep all above board 👍
What's the wheel offset on these rims you installed??
I’m sorry, I can’t remember
