You can do backhop from neutral by pressing RT (or R2) + ↓ + B (or Circle) if you are using a controller. Yes Forstcraft is perfect for the Perfect Rush playstyle. If you wanna learn about SnS I recommend a guide made by a Japanese speedrunner Zen (with English sub). You are correct. The only reason he has ice attack on his build is because he is using velkhana armor. If he could take the ice attack off he probably would. He uses the velkhana armor for the frostcraft set bonus. It works well with SnS and is a huge DPS increase. Combo that with heroics and you start doing some stupid amounts of damage.
I don't have that much of play time and heated Alatreon only 3 times but what the actual fuck are there decorations: stealth, recovery up, peak performance, critical draw bro why
Claw uppercut has hyperarmor. You can't be interrupted by normal attacks (including roar) while doing so. So it's perfect for activating Feline Heroic while not wasting any time.
How do you avoid Escaton without elemental weapons? A friend and I have been trying to duo Alatreon and one-phase him like you have here but when ever we reach 60k damage, no matter the time, Alatreon goes Escaton.
Even in speedrun he has a chance of doing Escaton. It's just RNG once his HP is low. I once got EJ in as early as 2min 20sec. You have to kill him as fast as possible after the flight in 2nd phase (after the element transition, which is triggered by 50%HP threshold). So if you can CC him after the flight, do it. If not, pray you can kill him fast enough.
4 pieces of Velkhana armors give you Frostcraft, which at maximum gauge grants you 25% (30% for Greatsword iirc) damage boost, and this is post attack power calculation, which is amazing, and the Velkhana Gamma set also provides great skills and slots. It also synergizes super well with Perfect Rush. There's your answer. Try it out.
i find it really funny that you have fought alatreon and other endgame monster so much that you cant have any more of their pieces, yet your choral orchestra is only level 7

There is, but it's VERY unlikely to happen. I only got once after like 2000 resets (including my previous Alatreon runs of course.)

He has felyne heroic food buff that is the same as armor skill.
