ilyukha-tcokotukha Naa man, i disagree. He can do so much without Lip Rolls. His "Shout out to Amit" beat, Two beats one mouth and similar beats using that Cough Snare, his Tongue bass stuff, Inward Zipper routine and a massive variety of technical beats he can do. There are videos of him doing freestyle technicality and he is certainly capable in that sense too. In fact, he didn't even do Lip Rolls in his first round of this video until right at the end.
There's such a difference watching american beatbox championships and european. I noticed that the contestants in europe cheer for their opponent. This on the other hand is a total twist o.O They're bashing each other up on stage doing a variaty of gestures and commenting on the other :/ Be nice, kids!
I know right? But on the other hand it is technically a battle, I guess it's just a change of pace from the European championships lol still love the beatbox regardless of region though! :D
Just That Real Mexican Yeah I know. But look at them while they're doing their taunting and so on. They look like they mean whatever they say. Kaila for instance she looks real pissed and reacts to what he says, that's not an act. Also... salty mexicans*? :3
to be fair its kinda rare that a woman would be able to make low bass like a man can, that being said she could never compete with napom and expect to win
I just heard her live perform a few times (2018) and she hits those low basses at least nowadays. Maybe because she was much more relaxed, I have no clue.
Napom fully deserves the championship win, he has moved the crowd with his flow and rolls. And Kaila oh she so fine. I wanted to see Kenny vs. Napom though. Good set of battles
Finaly some sence, love napoms stuff but kaila had some really technical patterns going on, and she's making music and thats more important than just technique
Not really i dont like fast beatboxers but of course a little fast is good but non like skiller where he cant fucking breathe and it sounds like shit and hes spitting an ocean i like it when it sounds good both did very well
Can someone please explain the pattern at 4:46 ? I have tried to break it down many times but I'm just too novice in beatboxing and also too bad with breathing techniques! Would be highly appreciated! :)
Ras 0_o Thanks Ras, I know I got to practice a lot but would love to know the pattern for that! I now know some breathing techniques and still practice everyday. Thanks for the tips though!
See, some of y'all are saying that Kaila didn't deserve to be in this position. However, you're justifying that by saying she's not as good a beatboxer as her opponent(s), but not by the battle specifically. She may not be the better beatboxer(however being a "better beatboxer" is a whole other thing), but she did win those battles. If you think otherwise, go talk to those judges.
Two contrasts battling. I love NaPoM's low liproll bass and I love Kaila's Lip Oscillation. I love how he doesn't stop and I love her breaks. NaPoM went low and awesome but didn't add that extra kick drum to complete the beat until like his third loop or repetition. Which made that drop sound weird and off beat. I am also not a fan of humming which Kaila does... Yeah back then I only worshipped NaPoM but now I became more open minded... I have been enlightened!!
This battle is ridiculous. NaPom's bass is outrageous, and he did some very technically ambitious beats, and pulled them off smoothly, so it's not like I don't get how he won... But Kaila KILLED too. Her first round is still one of my all-time favorites, and she went super-hard in the second. I prefer NaPom's performance against Kenny Urban at BOT5thE, but this was still intense. It's a toss-up, IMO, and he didn't deserve a unanimous vote. Kaila's first round was my fav, but I can see why he won
Is the sound quality bad? He was like 3 times better at the Wolrd Championship against Alem, sick beats and amazing bass. But here he seems like a tier 2 beatboxer.
Napom is like the first honed American beatboxer Ive ever seen, really impressed wow, kaila is good but she needs more practice, you can tell that Napom has been practicing alot.
I've been listening to beatboxing for about 12 years and yet to see a girl do what the likes of rhazel, zede, reeps, roxorloops etc have been capable of...any suggestions?
Yeah i'm done with the American Championships, its a fucking joke. Congratulations NaPoM you deserve the title but you really could have been up against someone who had a lot more skill. NaPoM was the best in this entire competition but it was a big slap in the face to make him take the title with a battle like this. Kaila does beats that almost any beatboxer can do, she is basic nothing more. She was supposed to be taken out the first round. The day you stop allowing girls inside of the championships(And letting them get this far doing basic beats) is the day ill enter to fuck some shit up.
I agree. Without doubt these have skill but this is a dreadful final. If I'm honest Kaila showed more versatility and technique and therefore should have won. I think the American beatboxing scene still needs work if it wants to reach the European level, they certainly have the talent. Though NaPoM in this final used very simple techniques in terms of a professional beatboxer. Beatbox battles aren't about 'music' at all, beatboxing is an art by all means but when you battle you use good rhythm, technique, versatility, and skill to win, you certainly don't use a track or two taking up one round after another especially when sounding the same as your previous round. Beatboxing as 'music' is for outside of battles, though a few lines or few seconds of a tune from a song may be implemented into their battle now and again. For professional beatboxers the majority of techniques used in this particular video are second or third grade and the versatility from NaPoM was quite shocking. I particularly didn't like it when he said "Two beats, one mouth"... yeah two beats one mouth is childsplay for most professional beatboxers (he should have pushed it even further, its a final!)... If NaPoM goes to the World Championship using techniques like that he'll loose to most of the European beatboxers who've also qualified for the World Championship........ On another note lets prey that Reeps One from England and Alem from France enter the competition because they simply are untouchable for different reasons. Especially Reeps One, he's not known as the godfather of beatbox for nothing. He's the most respected beatboxer in the world, he's revolutionized beatboxing and increased it's popularity 10 fold. Beatbox family for life.
even the camera felt it on NaPoMs low drops xD
I knew it was napom beat boxing during the intro because it was good
yess xD
mickdaniel lol
4:30 'every single time..you end up singing' 😂😂
6:35 “wow more lip rolls, so surprising, lip rolls everytimeeee” 😂
Still better than any of Kailas shit lip rolling is still beat boxing singing isnt
6:00 screen vibrates from the bass
+AshesAndSketches its even shake my whole room
That's when Kaila knew she was fucked
heey your back
Shy pandiee Ohai
Your screen vibrated? My ears melted off my head
haha my neighbour knocked against the wall because of napoms bass :D thanks napom :P
Thats how it is around my place! Lol.
Erra thats fucking funny
+ironman211dr yeah that napoms bass knocked my neighbors into my walls
too easy for NaPom, Kenny would be better for a final... I really like Kaila's style but she didn't have anything new left :/
kaila has good musicality, but its crazy that she made it to the finals like that
crazy is the right word here
1. Skip Kaila's round
2. Enjoy Napom's bass
저도 kaila는 좀...
***** cringe
umm, both! : )
lol
박준표 I always do that #same........haha
Vice World Champ and Female World Champ right here :D
Tyo Yep haha.
Tyo its not world championship its the united states championship
***** napom didnt won the world championship, alem is the one who won the championship.
Ндlєдсн learn to read he said he was the runner up
Anyone know the combo napom was using right in the beginning?
Yea, I can agree with Kaila.. Always lip rolls BUT.. his lip rolls are fucking awesome.. holy fk. I wish I could do that..
Xaoo his Lip rolls got him to the finals of Beatboxing world championship ..
Xaoo NaPoM is on a whole different level then Kaila she shouldnt have even made it past Kenny Urban the judges were just biased because she was a girl
Xaoo And she's beats : b tt b k bb tt b k only))
ilyukha-tcokotukha
Naa man, i disagree. He can do so much without Lip Rolls.

In fact, he didn't even do Lip Rolls in his first round of this video until right at the end.
ilyukha-tcokotukha
I agree that Sh0h is an awesome beatboxer too! Just that Napom can do far more than just Lip Rolls.
and the winner is: REEPS ONE
Sike.
Lol
Mark Martin?
You still alive?
Lmao
I had my phone on vibrate.
I thought I was getting spammed with texts, but I just realized it was napolms bass.
Lollllll
wth is napolm? xD
I accidentally put an L. Jk, not an accident because Kaila took the L on dis one.
L?
loss

It's just an act, chill. Besides, we're salty Americans ;)
Just That Real Mexican Yeah I know. But look at them while they're doing their taunting and so on. They look like they mean whatever they say. Kaila for instance she looks real pissed and reacts to what he says, that's not an act. Also... salty mexicans*? :3
Again, I know these people. They are best friends, and they are entertaining the crowd.
Oh yeah, and I'm Mexican American lol :3
Keeta Then obviously you've never seen BMG battle before lol
The look on napom's face said-"how did she even reach the finals?"
Shouldn't Kaila play to her strengths and use high pitched noises?
But not she uses bass against napom , that's like trying to fight Bruce lee
Ice Cold Yeah. But females have the ability to hit higher pitched notes. So, she can EASILY beat Napom in a squeak contest or something.
TheSomersaultProductions you're way way off on that.
How so?
I can go higher than most girls in my school and I'm a Bass 2
00:11 are NaPoM speaking about Villain?
I think, NaPoM had make the best beatbox session i've ever heard !!! (sorry im french) PEACE !
well then you have not heard much.
to be fair its kinda rare that a woman would be able to make low bass like a man can, that being said she could never compete with napom and expect to win
its just the thickness of the lips and practice. thick = deeper, thin = higher
I just heard her live perform a few times (2018) and she hits those low basses at least nowadays. Maybe because she was much more relaxed, I have no clue.
yeah but this is a beatbox battle not a bass battle
ManiaCoDs YT ye but bass goes well with the battle aspect
Bruh! Napom's bass is so badass, the camera shakes when the bass drop! 👌🎶🎤
i want to know how come kaila go on that place
Napom fully deserves the championship win, he has moved the crowd with his flow and rolls. And Kaila oh she so fine. I wanted to see Kenny vs. Napom though. Good set of battles
More roll like this then
Now please tell me that you have showcases for the judges
Napom's camera shaking lip rolls get me every single time!!!!!!!
Napom KILLed this
but still Kaila can destroy any of us..
CANT WAIT FOR THE 2V2 !
Oh hell nah you have no idea how many talents are watching these videos. They are getting out of their holes, slowly
4:31 I laughed my ass off
AiyunoDaPro Same
Omg hahahah
Best part was 1:06 to 1:22. I loved that beat. Sounded familiar and now I am dying to know what song I heard in before...
That Napom bass makes the camera vibrating
WTF moving screen because of napom's bass (y)
NaPoM completely demolished the American Champs!!
You can see the lights above vibrating due to bass!! 6:19
5:53 my whole room is vibrating 😪
honestly kaila's beats were more complex. I think people get emotionally wound up by the flare of napoms lip rolls but once you see past them...
Finaly some sence, love napoms stuff but kaila had some really technical patterns going on, and she's making music and thats more important than just technique
***** I'm pretty sure it doesn't matter how technical, or how complex the beats are. Just depends on whether the judges like it or not.
BorWouterUruz Yeah im overexaggerating abit because, some people only see technique and dont see the music, that's what im trying to tell
Not really i dont like fast beatboxers but of course a little fast is good but non like skiller where he cant fucking breathe and it sounds like shit and hes spitting an ocean i like it when it sounds good both did very well
whatisiswhatable her beat sounded like fart when she did the bass sound.
they're both taunting each other but napom the only one who can actually back it up
kaila killed it napom was just on fire all night big up guys
That's a nice last name you got there bud
my cousin's last name is Morris too :P
Peter Griffin That's a nice last name your cousin has there bud
Tj Morris Thanks! I guess...
lol
Can someone please explain the pattern at 4:46 ? I have tried to break it down many times but I'm just too novice in beatboxing and also too bad with breathing techniques! Would be highly appreciated! :)
Al I can say is practice, for me it took 7 months but it could be faster to learn for others
Ras 0_o Thanks Ras, I know I got to practice a lot but would love to know the pattern for that! I now know some breathing techniques and still practice everyday. Thanks for the tips though!

Yeah, I'd love to talk to those judges.
Ye.....she is bad
@@bunnyfluff7638 calm down shiet
@@hrithikjho4075 in the past, not anymore
Okay battle but napom vs kenny would of been way better and intense!
I love how, at 4:02, NaPom's expression suddenly, subtly changes from extremely aloof and dismissive to like... "Oh damn..."
0:11 for my brothers who lost how did he drop that beat???? :o
NAPOM!!!!!!! Congratulations, big up to Kaila as well. Maximum Respect :D
Is it just me.. or kaila and NaPom look soo fucking identical.. haha
0:19 la cara de NaPom lo dice todo, sabe que tirará buenos bajos y beats
Camera work here holds up. Very good
perfecto amigo 👌😎
Napom performance is always on point I like his style.
5:50 Holy shit NaPoM

DUDE SITTIN IN THE BACK WITH GUITAR WAS SO CALM
Congratulation NaPoM!
I can't believe this isn't more valued than it is.
06:49 NaPoM face :D

It sounds like 2014 UK beatbox championship under 18 category finals
BIG UP from www.beatboxgreece.com !!
Good job ... amazing champ
why is this comment labeled as non-wanted? Adam Andrew Corre
@@kalhfash1581 Because no one likes Greece
Nobody was cheering Kaila everybody was cheering for NaPoM
Yoooooooo how many mouths do u have napom Holly shit

Are you going to be putting up the judges showcases?
Are the loop station rebounds gonna be posted? Like the ones that wobbles jflo and kaila did
Kaila's bass sounds off. Still great though
Is the sound quality bad? He was like 3 times better at the Wolrd Championship against Alem, sick beats and amazing bass. But here he seems like a tier 2 beatboxer.
He was at his worst against alem he basically threw that battle away
They embraced each other. It's so cute :з
Kaila is a great beatboxer, but she deff shouldnt have been in the final
Nuff said
Awesome!
Napom you are win always I love you soooo maush😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
Napom will be happy becoz u won against english
The screen is fuckin' vibratin' at 6:00
Love both but Napom's bass stuck in my head... He is so cool...
Quien lo diría luego de esto NAPOM se encontraría con otros LOCOS DEL BEATBOX
NaPoMおめでと!!
ヤバイ!!
kailaも2位おめでと!!
両者に拍手👏🎉
Napom's bass has the cameras vibrating starting at 5:50
kailas 's throat bass is bad 😆
true
bad is an understatement, is it even throat bass
Meverynoob I think it has to be low frequency to be bass. LMAO.
she's a woman her voice is 2 or 3 tones higher than napoms
Napom too
Napom is like the first honed American beatboxer Ive ever seen, really impressed wow, kaila is good but she needs more practice, you can tell that Napom has been practicing alot.
2018 anyone?
Change my name if you don't get lightheaded while listening to NaPoM's Bassssss.....
I really dislike Kaila's beatboxing.
Those bass drop 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
crazyness :)
how kaila made it to the final??
*CRAZY BASS* 5:51
Prime napom was 2014 - 2017 miss those years
I actually love that beat at 2:21
how's that song at the end?
I've been listening to beatboxing for about 12 years and yet to see a girl do what the likes of rhazel, zede, reeps, roxorloops etc have been capable of...any suggestions?
+Adam Weaver pe4enkata...and if you have been listening for 12 years that should be a no brainer.
+Notice Thee no man she close but not quite there
danilom951 well id say she is there considering she is better than a lot of other pro male beatboxers
+Notice Thee well no she's good like I said but if for example if she was in the mend side in bbwc I don't think she make top 16 but that's just me
Because none of them can do bass due to them not being able to do throat bass and even deep lip rolls
Thank god the judges didn't have the same winner as the audience did.
This is just too easy for NaPoM.
who is the winner?
That moment the cameras go out of focus from Napolm's bass.

Everything sounds different live dumbfuck...
what was that sound 2 beats one mouth??? 0:50 ?? any napom fansz??
Joyce Abraham Throat kick+KIM hutch squeak+Cough snare
I'd have to say 1:10 was pretty fuckin sick. it sounded like a steel guitar or something lol that's gotta be that guys thing
that steel guitarish sound you hear is a side effect of the mic
how he does this super low bass?
Inward liprolls i believe
+Veloza GG sub bass lip roll I guess( which a kind of inward lip roll )
is there any lesson on youtube?
Yes
Search inward lip roll tutorial on TH-cam, the second video he explains all lip rolls
