Appreciate this MHI content currently tasked with maintaining some of these 😅 service manual are hard to find can you isolate and re-address from the remote ? I have two evaps to replace
It really depends on what model you have, but it is possible to change the address using the RC-EX3 (ECO TOUCH) controller's. However, I've always done it manually
@Air Con Alex it's the same model shown in the vid, ultimately I was wondering if removing the evap from the system would require a reinitialization or some sort I'm accustomed to Dakin, and it's simple to erase and re-address if a unit is added or removed so I'm looking for something similar on the MHI.
Is it part of a multi split system or a vrf?
@@AirConAlex vrf
So what's your plan?
Are you not just going to recover the refrigerant, isolate the power, remove the indoor units, install the new indoors, and set the address settings on the indoor units.
Then, pressure test, evacuate, and re-charge the system and power everything back up?
How do you set up the weekly timer on this controller thanks
There's a "Timer" button that allows you to set a simple On/OFF Timer and a week Timer.
Here's a link to a manual www.mhi-mth.co.jp/en/products/pdf/pjz012a087b_english.pdf
@@AirConAlex thanks just confused about when it says select number? Do you have to select number 1 when setting on timer then select number 2 when setting off timer. Thanks
@Dean Bamford the number just indicates points in the day, so for example,
No1 time on at 8:00
No2 time off at 11:00
No3 time on at 12:00
No4 tune off at 17:00
Normally, you would just use No1 and No2 for an ON and OFF times
Hi can you help me for repair error 45
E45 is normally an outdoor PCB fault
Hi , sir alex why my MHI RCE appears ( waiting S ) ?
So "wait" will appear for a few reasons. It can appear if you have changed the mode from cooling to heating. But if it continues to just say wait, then there might be a fault.
@@AirConAlex i been reset the rce and waiting S keep appearing
