- In this video we look at the fascinating tale of Max Manus, a major figure in the resistance movement formed in Norway during the Second World War, to fight back against their Nazi occupiers. His acts of courage and heroism in the face of constant danger make for a remarkable story of a man who stood against a giant... and won.

I really like how you pointed out what the resistance did to the railway lines and bridges, to "keep" the germans in Norway, and not let them out to Europe and fight the other allied forces. I haven't seen or heard anyone point that out, so it's really nice you did that.
It must've helped lots keeping the germans from joining the fight, and for sure saved lots of allied forces lives. Imagine if 200k troops had joined the fight... how that doesn't impact anything is impossible.
Even 50k-100k could've done a lot of damage against the allied forces. The germans here knew how to handle the cold somewhat, and they were hard working people too. They definetly would've done damage if they had joined the fight..
Great video
Thank you! Glad you like the video!
It seems to me the large German force being kept in Norway is such an understated factor of the allied victory in the Second World War and undoubtedly had huge influence on the overall outcome of the conflict!
Proud to say i am named after Manus. I also have relatives that have worked with the «Oslo gang» during WW2. Great movie!
epic

Wonderful introduction bro!
Thank you very much!
Gunnar Sønsteby was the leader of the Oslo gang not Max Manus
