Interesting list of significant performances. I would have included Santana's "Soul Sacrifice". Apparently Santana's performance at Woodstock gave their reputation a big boost. I became a fan of the band, and saw them live 2 years later.

Woodstock happened the summer I was starting high school. I had absolutely no idea about where or what it was. But, I did know some older kids who went and their story was that it was horrible. I do know that my generation of kids were largely idiotic, self included.
