my husband was given a 221g form at his immigration interview in Casablanca and was told to provide proof of my last trip after our marriage; the consulate received this information 3 days after the interview; after 18 days I followed up on the CEAC website and it still showed REFUSED. I contacted my state senator after another 17 days and they received a response saying the interviewing officer refused my husbands visa because she did not believe our relationship was BONA FIDE! we have been in a relationship since April 2019, and married on Feb 22, 2022. We are baffled how she came to this conclusion and I believe it's very vindictive and misleading! The information they requested was sent to them and they didn’t ask for anything else! Anyone have any advice they can give??

How long does AP take normally for k1 visa?
The us visa application procedure is a nightmare, a lot of other country’s visa applications are documents based but for the US it’s based on 3 or 4 non sense questions that barely determine eligibility, they know nothing about you that’s why you are more likely to get put in AP.
i had applied for usa B1B2 visa , i was granted 10 yrs B1B2 visa but my C1D visa ( valid for 1 year more) was stamped CWOP. I had send visa for correction but its been 70 days now that I have not received my passport/visa back and its under administrative processing. Would could be the reason for this cancellation and how long does this processing takes place normally
My wife case on the Ceac website went from refused to ready sue already been interviewed it's been 5 months but date does update often what does that mean
Brother its about 1 Year there is no update on our case but when we call on embassy they say your case is still in administrative process
We were denied an immigrant visa at the interview at the U.S. embassy in the F3 category because my grandfather (our sponsor) had passed away. We were then moved to the F4 category, and my paternal uncle became our sponsor. Thankfully, we were given another interview after 8 months in October 2024. Unfortunately, our CEAC account showed an “application error,” despite many attempts to resolve it and reporting the issue to both the embassy and the NVC, but to no avail. We were supposed to upload the DS-260 form there, but we couldn’t due to the online error. When we discussed this issue in an interview at the embassy, they said it was okay, and they would upload the documents and place our case into “administrative processing” following the second interview, without providing any explanation and told us you can acquire knowledge about your case after 2 months. 😢

I am from Iran and citizen of United States my son case went under the administration process since his interview with the consular in the Ankara Turkey Embassy in March 2023. It is a year and half that we are waiting and there is no answer. But the same Iranian children of Iranian government get their visas and residence permit very quickly. That government that they say supports Hezbollah. This procedure is against all the laws that citizens were believed and supported. This means if you have money you are welcome no matter if we are in the war with your country or not. Got it sir, we now don't believe that they are protecting America, they are filling their pockets.

They will issue your visa send it ASAP. That means the administrative processing done
@@bnt.aliraq I did on 27th December the consulate received it in 30th December and the case date is updated onn3rd January but the status still refused and No news till today 9th January .

We interviewed over a week ago. Officer approved everything and mentioned our passports will be returned soon (after 2 days to be exact) and that no additional information was needed for them, they gave me no slips, nothing. My daughter's status shows "issued" and mine "administrative process". They won't really give me info when I email them. Consular processing In South Africa for CR1 & CR2. Not ex military, no previous visas or issues.
Sam with my wife in South Africa waiting going on 60days and won't tell us anything sitting at refused email twice all they said was they need more time no updates did yours get approved yet

Mine too, IR5 I got my interview last Nov 21 it went well but it was refused and administrative processing. And I need to file I-601 bcoz of my previous record. Now were meeting for a lawyer that could help me for this waiver.

@@omercem700 yes I did, I took my passport back from the consulate, I had a travel for work, and once finished it, I gave them back my passport, and they have put the visa on my passport in one day! Now I’m in the US, cheers
I have a question: 3 months ago i had an interview with USCIS in US Embassy and they have shown me some of my comments from 2018 and 2019 the account was mine, but because the comments were from years ago how can someone remembers it? Me either i didnt remember about those comments i have totally forgotten about them, but when i came home from interview after a few days i remebered that yeah now i can give clarification about those comments and i remembered everything. Forgetting about something doesnt mean lying so do they understand or deny my case? I just dont know i am very upset 😢

I am a truck driver in Canada. My interview was on 12th January and I was given the yellow paper of 221g. Three days later I received an email and they asked me for information and documents. I gave it to them. After that I am still waiting that you can tell me how long it will take time

My husband did his medical and interview march 2024 now he’s in administrative processing he was told everything looks good. So what’s happening it’s been three months now . He’s in Jamaica I’m a US citizen

Hello sir, my wife interview went well and she was approved. No refusal or administrative process was said to her. She was told, “your visa is approved.” It has been two weeks now no passport back. I emailed the embassy and I was told the visa application is on administrative process. I’m confused. She was told approved and was never asked for any extra documents. The only thing I’m thinking and please let me know if I’m wrong. My 2022 tax transcript was not uploaded on the day of the interview due to technical difficulties. She gave them the 2022 tax transcript and they make a copy. After the interview I tried uploading it again and it was successfully submitted. Could that be the reason? Thanks

Hello sir my fx1 visa interview was on 19 sep 2024 counselor give me white slip 221g and ask for submitting documents. After one month my status change from refuse to administrative processing. They change status ready for my son but me in AP after 10 days.what does it mean and how long they take time plz tell m?

We had our immigration visa (F31) interview on 19th March 2024. The officer gave us a 221g slip and ticked some documents that she asked us to submit. She also ticked on the box which said to send passports via courier. After that our visa status showed refused. We submitted all the ticked documents on 15th April. Our case got updated on 23rd April but still showed refused. It got updated again on 25th April then on the 29th of April but still shows refused. Any idea why

@@bilindamezaour484 the visa is actually for him not me. I requested the visa for him he is my fiancé. NVC sent it back to USCIS. I called USCIS and asked what’s going on and they said not to worry there r no signs of his visa being denied so it was sent back to them so they can make sure the documents were filed correctly and it can take a few months. Once reviewed they will either grant him the visa or he will have to go for a 2nd interview.

Hello sir my b1/b2 visa interview is on 20jan in k.s.a after interview officer approved my visa and kept my passport when I checked my visa status was approved but not issued after 3mounths my visa status was changed from approved to refused on25 April i received email they need additional information i submitted then another email fill up ds5535 form i submit but on 1 jun they return my passport with pink slip 221g that your visa is refused for Administrative process you need to wait no additional information needed dates are changing 4 times last update on 16 November status was changed from refused to Administrative process almost i m waiting 10 months who long it will take?

I had immigration interview at US Embassy Islamabad with my father and mother in law . My wife is a US citizen.
All of us got a 221 g with two boxes ticked
1) administrative processing (you will be notified if further action is needed)
2) passport(submit via courier)
Embassy demanded no documents.
Is it good sign that they ticked the second option also?

My husband was told in his interview yesterday that they have to do Admin checks and gave him his passport as well and then he received a 221g in which he was asked to submit his passport. I hope it's a good sign. He just mailed it today.
All Muslim countries are put to Administrative/refused. Because the embassies are still working g under Trump policy except they lifted the ban from these countries.
America is like this now. And the president has done nothing about the embassies.

For my h1b administrative processing its now 1.5 years now, status still refused.
1.5 years is a very long time. You may want to look into filing a writ of mandamus lawsuit
@@AshooriLaw , Look like, now they are working on my case, "Case Last Update Date" is now changed again, First date was updated on Dec-2023, second time date updated on Feb-2024 and now again date changed on Aug-2024. Now I am little hopeful.
