    I just made this and it is beautiful! Thank you for the tutorial. Also, I received the rings I ordered from you today, it was my first time ordering from you. The bright aluminum rings are beautiful. I ordered from another place a while ago and your rings are by far better quality, much more polished and no burs. Highly recommend. I am in the U.S. and it only took two weeks to get them, which I was also impressed with.

      Hi Stacy, I am thrilled your rings arrived in a timely manner and you are happy with them. Go forth and make beautiful maille! Deb

    Just wanted to let you know how much I appreciate your tutorials. Your gentle demeanor and artisan skills are a wonderful teaching combination! I've learned so much from you - - even when I have to watch w/out sound! It's not only about making it look so easy.... it's also about consistency of method! I truly hope you'll continue to offer your lovely videos! Quick questions.... What's the absolute tiniest ring size (gauge & ID) you've ever used in a Bracelet/Necklace? Do you have a video for it? Thanks, again, Deb! --MJ

      Thank you MJ for your kind words, I greatly appreciate them. I'm not sure what you mean by smallest ring ID/gauge....do you mean for this weave or just in general? The smallest bracelet I have ever made was JPL3 in 22G I think it was, but can't remember the ring ID. Necklace would be again JPL3 in 20G, I think the ring ID was 2.50mmID. Deb

      @@AussieMaillers thanks so much for getting back to me... I think about you and your family more than ever because of the international shenanigans going on. I've learned sooooo much watching/listening to your tutorials, and have amassed quite a store of supplies for my own deeper dive into the world of chain maille jewelry design. I'm a professional driver of the lower 48 states, and I hope to very soon have my work set-up completed in my truck! What a deal!! I drive throughout this wonderful country AND get to create lovely pieces! You're a lovely inspiration, Deb, and I do pray God's guiding grace over your lives in this incredibly difficult time of our lives! Thank you for all your help and dedication to this wonderful art form!!

    Did you lose any length when you were connecting the sides (outside rings) at the end?

    • @AussieMaillers
      @AussieMaillers  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You do, I would add about 10% extra in length, but you can easily add to the centre chain if you get to the end and it isn't correct.

    For some reason I can’t get the 18 gauge to work out with 18 g 5/32”....it’s too tight...going to try with 18 g 3/16” and see if it works better....great tutorial though

    Those pliers look so comfortable. Where can I find them?

    • @AussieMaillers
      @AussieMaillers  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Andrew I would say that we sell them, but ever since COVID hit our normal supplier hasn't been able to get them in. They are the Lindstrom RX pliers with the stubby nose. I would suggest googling to see who can supply them nearest to you. Deb
