    Here’s an easy tutorial on how to make a beginner wire wrapped bracelet. When I first started learning how to make jewelry with wire, this was the first style of bracelet I made. It can be made with or without beads. I use aluminum wire because it doesn’t tarnish, it bends easily, and it's inexpensive. I love using gemstone crystal beads for these bracelets because I think it gives the bracelet a very upscale look.
    Lately I had a couple comments about another creator named @lananhhandmade having the same design. My intention was not to copy off of her. Its possible she is the channel that I learned this technique from many years ago. Its been so long I didn't even remember what channel I had learned the technique from. The video I saw was for a ring and it was not adjustable. I modified it by adding a heart at the beginning, adding beads, and making it adjustable. Then I thought maybe I could make it into a bracelet by using thicker wire and that's how I came up with this video. So I would like to credit her for the inspiration.

    Well that was fun. I didn't have the correct wire, so I used 1mm strand of copper coloured aluminum wire and 2mm of actual copper wire. The copper wire was a little trickier to work with but I think it turned out ok. It certainly doesn't bend as easy. Thank you so much for this tutorial. It truly was fun!! ❤️❤️✌️❤️❤️

    Thank you for posting this video tutorial on how you made this bracelet! I love getting great ideas and then implementing them in my own ways, especially from talented artists like yourself for inspiration. I plan on doing this same project with 20ga and 22ga wire, along with a variety of beads. Would it be alright if I posted a video of my creation and provided a link to this video, to show where I got the inspiration from? I wouldn't have been able to come up with the design without your help and I definitely want to give you credit for this design! Again, I thank you for posting this inspirational tutorial!

    So after I cut the "16 gauge wire" and started the process I noticed that the beads would not fit. So I looked up the conversions for a 1mm wire and it's actually a 18guage piece that's needed not 16 or 17 gauge.

    • @YarnNecklaces
      @YarnNecklaces  ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Hi Pamela, Thank you for noticing that. All my wire is by mm so I had to look up what the gauge is. Apparently the site I went to was incorrect. I wish there was a way to correct it in the video, but I did put it at the top in the description.

      Thank you, I sell them to customers and wear them myself, but not everyday. I think as long as your customers use common sense they hold up. Aluminum wire doesn't tarnish but I still would use it around harsh chemicals or swimming.

    • @YarnNecklaces

    • @YarnNecklaces
      @YarnNecklaces  ปีที่แล้ว

      You're right the wire is soft, but since it's thick it gives it a little more stiffness and it holds up well.

  • @ResinEssenceByCheri
    @ResinEssenceByCheri 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

    I would love to make this but I’m so unsure of the durability of this super soft aluminum wire. How easily can it be dented or misshapen from every day wear?

    • @YarnNecklaces
      @YarnNecklaces  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I guess it depends how rough you are with jewelry. I don't have any problems wearing mine. Yes it can get scratched or dented easier than other types of wire. Mine probably has a few minor scratches after wearing it 25 times or so, but its only noticeable very close up. And yes it can get misshapen, but then you just bend it back. I don't have this happen while i'm wearing it but could happen if you don't store it carefully.

    Hi,
    Just finished watching this video and the bracelet is nicely done. I've been working with wire for a bit now and I'm trying to do more with wire and sell them however at times I find myself stuck and not knowing exactly what do. So, I'm always watching TH-cam for newer pieces and the way to go about making them and for those that are kind of a bit tricky I'm always asking the designer "if I can make it and sell it" before I do it. That said may I sell your design on my online shop as well pop ups?

In fact, one of the main reasons I started my youtube channel was to give makers ideas on things to make and sell. But I do have an etsy shop and I sell them there. Yes I also use 8mm beads for the bracelet. It comes out about the same size as using 9 6mm. You can use other size beads for the ring too. I just wouldn't go to big because it gets awkward on your finger.
