For those saying he got "robbed": this game actually goes for anywhere from $1,200-$2,000 for a loose copy, usually leaning towards that latter price. So this game was actually properly priced, and in some cases, actually cheaper. That's also not to mention the free GBC and game that were thrown in as a gift. Learn your facts before spewing hate 😌

Collectors are willing to pay just about anything for rare items, but that's only considering it's not going to bankrupt them, and that it's priced around what it's truly worth according to it's rarity. That is not "crazy" whatsoever. That said, a loose copy of Clay Fighter 33 ⅓: Sculptor's Cut is worth right around $900.00, and knowing DKOldies, they probably sold it for significantly more then that. Let's see what they're selling it for on the site....WOW, $1699.00 for a "cosmetically flawed" cartridge!!! DKOldies can go suck a lemon for that absurdly high price!
Collectors aren't paying these stupid prices it's bandwagoners and speculative investors who are paying these dumb prices. When the economy goes bust in a few months the speculative market is gonna nose dive as people unload their "investments " before they become worthless.

It’s hard to believe that it’s actually the rarest game since I found it on eBay for $20.
the ones you see for $20 are either certifiably fake, or not the sculptor's cut version. sellers for sculptor's cut at that $20 price seem to have almost no seller rep and paid to be sponsored to show up at the top of the list with their fakes. the labels also have errors (color, position, sizing, etc.) that are evident even at a glance. any game that rare is bound to have a lot of fakes trying to prey on collectors.

Fyi, doing the sides with the fold down is actually easier without the tape gun, and instead just using your hands. Put half the tape on, half the tape off, and then move the sides innas you go up, and then fold the top down.
